Nope. No squishes here.

So sorry for the lack of update on Friday, everyone. You may have seen on social media that I was pretty sick. I'm not back up to snuff yet but I'm still pushing ahead. That's what buffers are for, after all. I've waited too long to get to the end of this comic!

No squishes here, indeed. Not in this memory! With the possible exception of hurricane shenanigans, I do believe this was indeed the only update you have ever abruptly missed. Impressive, no? Get well soon and don't overwork yourself. Take an extra day to just be a lump in bed if you have to!

I've only ever had full on proper gastro once. It's kind of amazing. When I thought it was all over about 12 hours after it started I had a drink of coke to get some sugar in me. But... it wasn't over. 5 minutes after the drink I vomited perfectly clear, cold water. It was almost... refreshing. 5 minutes after that I vomited black sludge. Burning, acidic, thick black sludge. My rotten gut had managed to separate the syrup from the soda water somehow like a backwards soda machine. Umm... what I mean is get well soon. Starting the year exploding from both ends is no way to start the year at all. :D

Man, even if such a thing needed earning, the regularity with which you update means you have MOUNTAINS of time in lieu to claim ;) I do hope it settles soon, though; the worst stomach flu I ever had was in high school, and all I remember is a lot of dry cereal, icy poles, and ill-fitting pants. I like Sette's poofy tail.
