Ok, so... I got a 'little' excited at the end, and I forgot to record the Post-Credit scene. XD My reaction to it can be found here! :) -

https://streamable.com/akcmkv

This was bloomin' FREAKY! SO much darker than the first one! I 100% did not expect a cliffhanger style ending going into the 3rd movie!

This has what is probably my favourite scene so far! So funny (and INSANE!!)!

But seriously... maybe lower your volume at the end if you are wearing headphones. XD

Love you, guys! I hope you have a wonderful week!!

Jamie B

Ooo yay!

Ruins of Wonderland

You're spoiling us lately! 😂 I always worry about my favorite YouTubers tho, careful not to burn out 💜💜

Methanoutput

omg you have soooooo many reactions. When i am done with my internships i have to dedicate like whole weekends to catch up with Buffy, Avatar and these movie reactions :D

Alex Hopps

Awesome sauce, thats my evening sorted

Emma

You HAVE to watch the whole movie series! PLEASE watch 3, 4 and 5!! <3

Ren

Omg YES!!! So glad you're continuing this franchise (im gonna stay strong tho and save this for the weekend!),

Eve

Was just thinking today about rewatching this movie and then your notification came up! Amazing reaction and that reaction to Barbossa was epic!! 😂

Flufux

By the way, did you see the post credits scene for this movie? I didn't find it in this video (though maybe I missed it), but it does answer one question you might have been wondering.

VeggieGamer

Hi Flufux! It is linked in the description of this post!! So sorry, I was SO hyped by 'that ending' I completely forgot, edited the video, and was half way around Woozle's afternoon walk before realising I hadn't checked out the post credit! XD It is a separate video, like I say, in the blurb of this post! :)

two pennies no waiting

so excited! Even if you take a while to edit it, too many reactors wait to watch the third when it is obviously a companion to end this movie's plot. don't wait too long/ watch too much in between or you may forget some of the plot :)

Ruins of Wonderland

Ok first of all you're DEFINITELY more DISHY than Orlando Bloom 😤😤😂 In other news, Tia Dalma (the witch lol) was EVERYTHING to little teen me 🤣 me n this whole series man, a part of me will always want to be a swamp witch with strange animals that occasionally becomes a pirate solving curses n facing leviathans for my holidays 🤣 (had a crush on her n Cap'n both what can I say 🤷‍♀️) The soundtrack in this one is still my favorite, that kraken theme they string all thru this is just gorgeous n haunting I think arguably the 3rd is the best tho... We shall see what you think! You definitely need to continue I will forever say this era was objectively the best time for movies. Not saying all the best comes from this time, obviously not. But with the cgi not at peak quality being used to enhance practical effects, imo is one of the most important parts in movies. Not just for viewers but for the actors too. I always think back to McKellen when filming the Hobbit, how miserable being in an ugly green box expected to immerse himself in the highest of fantasy. When combined with this early age of cgi, it could be paired so beautifully with the practical/sfx, made better by the high dedication of production. Just made for really awesome movies, no better way to put it lol Anyway I loved your reaction to this 🤣🤣 between you predicting some random thing then getting jumpscared n horrified a minute later lmao you were on a horror-roller-coaster 😩

Fiur

I watched the whole movie with excitement waiting for the little twist in the end and your reaction to it. And by god it was so worth it. :D I can't wait for the next part of the franchise, because Barbossa is my favourite character too. So to answer the question if you should watch it...it is a clear "Aye" from me. :D

PumpkinSparks

I loved the first one so much I can quote the whole movie. So when this one was announced I HAD to watch it in cinema. Now I am a scaredy cat who can't watch any horror at all, but I was in my late teens when this came out and in Germany had a rating for 12 year olds - it gave me freaking nightmares! This movie is scary!!! At the same time it has some of my favourite comedy bits and fighting coreography in all of Pirates... I actually love both island scenes and think they are brilliant and hilarious (I don't have an issue with hights though), but especially the letter one? Peak cinema! The wheel coreo, the 1 v 1 v 1, the blade swapping, the switching around of groupings, the comedy bits, all while moving the story forward and characters having realizations and switcheroos - that whole part of the movie is just brilliant The "I have a jar of dirt" song is one of my vocal stims that just randomly get triggered sometimes. It's like a secret tunnel... Norrington is so hot in this movie! I understand that pretty much all of the pirate ajacent characters would stink like crazy in reality, but just visually? That is a good looking mess of a man! At the end, when Barbossa came down the stairs, the whole cinema gasped and shouted out in confusion but sheer happiness. He might be an asshole, but we love Barbossa! And he so lives for the drama. That man totally planed that entrance with the apple and everything

Stefan Landwehr

My favorite Movie ending! :D Barbosa ftw! xD

Lord-LemonHead

This one's my favorite in the series, and the big fight on Isla Cruces is of course my favorite scene. Really looking forward to film 3, there's so many good moments in it.

Alex Hopps

To answer some of your questions without nesseseraily answering them directly, ill just remind you of the curse of the black perl "a ship with black sails, crewed by the dammed, captained by a man so evil hell itself spat him back out again". Savvy?

This comment is best read in the voice of jack sparrow

Yea some of these scenes are like how did disney okay this lmao. I always loved Davy Jones design though, but some of his crew are to much

Snowspeeders and Space Shuttles

Loved this reaction Veggie! The other films are very enjoyable. I see we both agree on favourite characters - Team Barbossa. Absolutely cannot wait for you to watch the next one.

3:49 uve never worn a corsette? cmon veggie, get on with the times! D: shame on you XD 8:30 i def. would encourage checking out all of them! - i SERIOUSLY think the biggest "problems" ppl have with the other movies, is because its with new characters, and basically telling a "new chapter" of the story 11:03 don't forget the after credits! 13:53 sounds to me, like ur being especially nostalgic lately XD 14:08 yes! i used to go (Paris, since im Swiss) a few times as a kid. I remember i would always dress up as Peter Pan and ride the peter pan ride a gazillion times! and my BF was never to any theme park, so we planned a week Disney vacation together with my best friend and her mom..... only for it to be my best friend, her mom and MY boyfriend... because i couldnt get there, because the french were striking with both planes and trains! c_c 1:07:08 wow x: nice guess XD 2:00:48 this always reminds me of Sea of Thieves (game) x3 much fun 2:37:42 he is so proud of her ! QAQ 2:46:13 i knew u would be excited XD but didnt expect soo much! XD 2:47:54 u forgot the end credit scene again QAQ same as with first movie ! every movie has a scene at the end! QAQ 2:53:18 if he IS ur favorite, then you DEF. SHOLD watch ALL the movies x:

krissy

I'm just starting the reaction so I might pop back into the comments later to give some thoughts on it, but I wanted to say how genuinely excited I am for this. I've been burned out and overstimulated all week and it's been causing daily meltdowns. I'm in need of some rest and some fun, and this is a long ass movie rife with it, so I am READY!!!

itz_Cherise

Your squeamishness is genuinely endearing 😅 I'm listening to the full cast audiobooks of Harry Potter now, so Weatherby Swann and Kiera Knightly are just making me think of Order of the Phoenix because of Percy Weatherby - I mean Weasley- and of course Kiera's amazing voice acting! LOL

Alright, I want to explain the dice scene. It is a real gambling game called "Liar's Dice". This is how it works: 1) Everyone bets some amount of money, or in this case, years of service. 2) Everyone rolls dice in a cup so that the other players cannot see. 3) Players take turns rotating with bids. The bidding rotates and must "increase" each time a new person bids. The bids increase with count and then die number so 3 fives beats 3 fours but 4 or more of anything beats 3 fives. 4) Bids are either true, or they are lies. Since the bid has to constantly increase, inevitably someone will have to "lie". 5) You play with all of the dice. Technically, with 15 total dice in this, game the highest possible bid is 15 sixes. 6) There is always one loser and everyone else wins. You lose if: a) You call someone else a liar when they are telling the truth b) You get caught in a lie. This means there is always some risk in calling someone else a liar. 7) Sometimes, ones count as "wild". Its not clear if that is the case here. In the scene the sequence is as follows: - Bootstrap starts by bidding "3 twos", a common opening move, because with 15 dice its virtually impossible that there are not 3 twos among the 15. - Davy Jones looks at his dice and says 4 fours (more than 3 twos). He was actually lying here since the only four in play his, but he does not know that. If Will calls him a liar, Davy Jones loses. But calling him a liar on 4 fours is waaayyy too risky that early on. - Will says "4 fives" which is a safe bet considering he has 3 of them and its an increase over 4 fours. - Bootstrap either has to say 4 sixes or up the bid to 5 or more of something. He bids "6 threes" which is very risky normally because he only has 2 threes and no one has bid threes yet but he is just trying to protect Will, not necessarily win. - Davy Jones can either up the bid or call Bootstrap a liar here. He wants to make Will lose and he has 4 fives of his own so he can safely up the bid off of Will's earlier bid and confidently say "7 fives" (this is exactly how many there are). - Will isn't comfortable calling Davy Jones a liar here but he has to up the bid if he doesn't call him a liar. He gambles on the fact that there are 5 more fives out there aside from his 3 and says "8 fives" which is a lie if ones aren't wild. - Davy Jones gloats by welcoming Will to the crew but he doesn't call him a liar fast enough, and Bootstrap makes an unreasonable bet and says "12 fives" which is technically possible but obviously not true considering his earlier bets. - Now Davy Jones has to either call Bootstrap a liar or up the bid (which Bootstrap says). Upping the bid would be an obvious lie so Davy Jones is forced to call Bootstrap a liar, thus protecting Will from losing. Honestly, its an incredibly well written scene that doesn't bother explaining the rules and I give the writers SOOO much credit for that because you could never explain the nuances of the game with exposition yet it is the perfect game for the situation our characters are in. Better to leave the audience a little confused and have them learn about it later. Fun fact: My dad taught me this game when I was 10. We played for $1 a game and he didn't let me gamble more than $10...he cleaned me out in about 30 minutes. I've never been much into gambling for actual money since, haha.

I thought it was so funny how you mentioned the Loki film right after saying you apparently didn't know who Stellan Skarsgard (Bootstrap) is ❤️ He's the scientist from Thor/Avengers, but also the professor from Good Will Hunting 🙂❤️ And yes *please* watch the 3rd one (at least) ❤️❤️

PohjolanAkka

This was a really fun reaction, I'm glad you're so excited with the movies!😄 Expecially with the ending! I have to say that I never really realized how dark these movies are from a first time viewer percpective. Like of course they have always been very dark fantasy films but I never thought of the body horror element and all that, so it was interesting to see the movie from your perspective! I suppose becouse I've watched these films from since I was about 10y old I'm just kinda sanitized to the dark aspects xD I've been absolutely obsessed with Davy Jones since I was kid. Propably the best villain in cinema for me. His whole story, musical themes, the visual and the absolutely incredible performance of Bill Nighy, he is fantastic! Can't wait to see your reaction for the rest of the series!

Ren

Okay so the weekend is finally here (got work saturday night) and im soooooo happy i saved this reaction for a day off...EASILY one of my top 3 fave reactions!

Leah Boerigter

Hi Veggie, lovely reaction as always. Wanted to point out a couple things you may have missed that I know from frequent watches. When Will Turner was searching for Jack, the man making a net who told him where he was also mentions that he gets "long pork" from that island, which is another word for human meat. Also, those people gathered around the witches hut holding a candlelight vigil were important. Jack Sparrow became a pirate because he didn't deliver a shipful of slaves for the East India Trade Company. Stole the ship he got from Beckett and those people at his funeral were the ones he freed.

Ashley Evers

Now I’m curious which videos about corsets you watched 🤣 I follow a few YouTubers who specialize in historical sewing/costuming, and there are some really fun ones out there 🤣

VeggieGamer

The videos were by Victoria Rae and Karolina Zebroska! But excellently made videos!!

Ashley Evers

I know Karolina, her stuff is always entertaining 😁 I will have to check out the other!

Time

Knew you would love that ending 😂 cant wait for more

out of 15 rolls, including at least 3 twos is 46%. In what universe is it virtually impossible to not have at least 3 twos?

jolt45

Sorry, I meant its so likely and he has so little information that he has no reason to call someone a liar there. Its not "virtually impossible" but it would be extremely stupid to do anything but raise. Also, its higher than 46% if 1s are wild because "3 twos" means "at least 3 twos" which is really "at least 3 ones and twos"

Michael Short

as a man I have actually tried wearing corsets (both the boned ones that are insanely uncomfortable to wear and the more modern ones that are generally meant for support) Purely out of curiosity and wanting to somewhat experience what women have experienced in the past and experience now. The boned ones are very uncomfortable and the modern ones not so much. lol :)
