18:54 "Corpse??" Lol, "corps", like an organization of group of people. Pronounced "core". (It's French... it can't be helped) Y'know, like the US Marine Corps! Or an "engineering corps" or "medical corps." Etymologically related to "corpse" though -- both come from Latin "corpus," meaning "body." "Corpse" of course means a *dead* body... or like, "only" a body, no longer a person. "Corps" is more like a metaphorical "body of people."

and in a military sense, it refers to a tactical unit of ground combat forces, which is what the Demon Slayers basically are. I get why she associated it with "corporation" though. The slang for "corporations" is much more common today than the traditional usage.

Ty for this 🙌 Someone in YT comments for this vid clarified this too. I definitely missed that detail I don't think it locked in for me that she was a demon fighting her primal instincts at that point.

I bit of a advice for when you start your next anime, avoid openings, 99% of the time they are full of spoilers, its better to watch them when you finish the season

its basically what you said on episode one, its a catcher to make you want to see more, but if you want a blind experience its better to avoid them until the season is over cus openings are tied to the season
