I like slime, but all other options are far better. I voted for Code Geass because that is my favourite, but Steins Gate is a close one. Doctor Stone is great too, waiting for the final cours. If you wanna feel like emotional rollercoaster watching people overcoming impossible things at their best - Dr Stone. If you wanna jus have fun and laugh - Slime (there is a few emotional scenes, but mostly jokes around)

I was rewatching it recently and it just felt strange, found my DVD just to see if I was just not remembering it correctly. And after some googling this is what I found: The DVD version is what originally aired. The blu ray version changed some of the music around, and in at least one scene re-recorded a line or at least changed how it sounded. Without spoiling anything, a scene where someone screamed "no" in the original it was changed to a whisper.

Sometimes that's the kind of show you want to watch. You can't always just watch super serious super complex super deep shows - it's taxing to the mind and depending on the shows, can get really depressing. Also, slime isn't *just* fun casual, there are serious moments and themes in there, they're just less complex than other shows and a lot less frequent.

I used to be the same way I’m not a big fan of mecha, but this is more of rlly good anime that just has mecha in it, it’s not a mecha anime and the story is so good that the mecha won’t matter imo, if you haven’t seen it I strongly recommend🙏

Are people really tryna act like slime isn’t amazing? It’s literally considered one of the best Isekai animes out there. Phenomenal world building, character development, character designs, comedy, action and so on. Especially since there aren’t really that many animes out there that have the type of world building slime does. Code is good yes but let’s not act like slime isn’t amazing either. PERSONALLY I like code but their was definitely a few episodes I couldn’t care for/was bored compared to slime which was amazing from the start and continued to grow. Plus slime literally has an INSANE season starting soon.
