in the peak of summer heat, I've been drawn to anything that feels light and cooling. working on these pieces was a way to cool myself down and feel refreshed in the midst of sweaty, sun-filled hours.

above: I have a set of sheer curtains in my room next to my desk that billow gently whenever a breeze blows through. they graze my arms and legs as they sway invitingly and lull me into a state of calm. I wanted to express that feeling in this piece and create a panacea that cracks through and smooths over the warm, fuzzy days.

and this month's sticker sheet~ ☆ I've been painting a lot recently and thought it'd be fun to turn a bunch of little doodles I did into a sticker sheet! I love how this turned out and I really enjoyed getting to try something new. I hope you like it, too!
