Just Another Josh

I love how Dicta places fourth with a wound on her head and broken tooth, but then is suddenly yanked up as a backup singer for Oguri’s concert because Creek got disqualified. Poor girl just couldn’t catch a break that day. It’s still a third place finish for her, even if through a technicality, but she’s also probably in so much pain on stage. You’d think they’d make an exception for the girl that literally broke a tooth so she doesn’t have to sing, lol

I love how nothing slowed Dicta Striker down until her tooth broke off.😆

yall need to watch the movie of umamusume beginning of a new era. that scene with dicta striker pretty much looks like that trough out the movie and it is cinema.

AND THATS IT FOR THE ARIMA KINEN! As we near the end of the season, some more facts below: 1. So as mentioned previously, this is the 1988 Arima Kinen that had so much running on the line. Oguri winning this makes this her official 1st G1 win and finally beating Tamamo Cross prior his retirement. This was seen as the "passing of the torch" from one ashen horse to another. 2. As also shown in the anime, super creek got disqualified. More context on that as follows: This was seen as and interference as there was not enough distance between creek and mejiro durren (the horse she overtook) to overtake. This forced mejiro durren to slow down to avoid a crash. This also is a safety violation under the JRA rules as it can cause severe injury to the horse and jockey. That's why Dicta (soccer boy) came in 3rd from the initial 4th. 3. The animation change during Dicta's zone is said to be a reference to another character in Uma Musume who does the same thing when locking in. More on that later. 4. Lastly, as some of the comments suggest, you can jump into the movie which is beginning of a new era HOWEVER (and this is just my take) i recommend checking out the main season and the ona (road to the top) first to get a better perspective of the movie.
