I like it, too. I'm tempted to make the target 21, so rolling a '20' gives you a 95% chance of winning instead of guaranteeing it. A little slower, but more thrills maybe.

Nice! Works well with a group. I usually play a "Farkle" inspired game (from Kingdom Come Deliverance). It's sort of like yahtzee. Rules: -Everyone rolls 3d6 (players whose characters aren't playing roll for npcs) -From here, each turn you may choose to reroll any combination of dice. Players go simultaneously. -first player to get three of a kind or consecutive (such as 1,2,3 or 3,4,5 etc) wins the pot. If two players get it at the same time, three of a kind beats consecutive, highest three of a kind wins. Oh, one more thing. I might allow thieves to use loaded dice.. To represent this they can increase or decrease the number rolled on one dice by one, but risk getting caught each time.

I like Ship, Captain, Mate & Crew for fast dice game. Roll 5d6. You have three rolls to get a 6-5-4. The remaining two dice are your score and high score wins. If you fail to get 6-5-4 the house takes your bet.

Interesting! Obvious analogies to Blackjack. I like Carl's build to 21. Maybe roll multiple D10s (mimics a card)
