So I am editing the latest draft of Deatbringer. I am up to the GM's guide. I laid out my GM philosophy in 10 steps. I'm saving details for the book, but here they are. Love you all. Be cool to one another.

So are you then going to explain each one in depth? I only ask as I’m not sure most will understand the shoe leather. Your list is spot on, but that’s also coming from one of your “students”. 😂 Regardless, I feel what is missed most in the DM section of RPGs is real moment to moment explanation of what your job is. I know that is difficult due to the complex nature of it, which is why it works just better as a YouTube channel. 😉 Just saying a quick explanation and then a note of which video to watch for a deep explanation I think would I be great!

Taking your advice from a previous video as I’m starting a new group. I’m asking each player. What should we do if you don’t show up? Professor, your content has been so helpful to me. Maybe it is because I’m old, but you are the most helpful dungeon tuber I’ve ever seen, and it’s not even close. I’m not saying there isn’t some other good content out there, but you hands-down should get an MVP award for all you are doing. I can’t wait for the Kickstarter! GO DEATHBRINGER!

This is a great list! I will definitely put it to practice! However, i'm not faniliar with "Cut the shoe leather." I'm new to your channel/Patreon but old to the game. Can you explain it?

Shoe leather to my understanding means to cut the parts of an adventure which don’t add much value to the session - eg acting out a whole scene where a player character is buying mundane supplies where you could simply say they get the items - it’s a inside term used by writers

That will be awesome. I'm playing it for the first time this weekend and just realized I have like 3 different versions of the rules in various PDFs I've collected. Not sure which is the newest so kind of picking what I like the best!
