God save the Spielleiter :P Independent games for the win! I want to get into Blades in the Dark. Deos someone know a good how-to video series for this price winning game? Also a review of the good society by deathbringer would be a blast. Please do it! :D

Jeff Jones

I love Savage Worlds and Castles and Crusades!

MrGunn

Interesting proposal, I will be curious to see how this plays out.

PS Yes to DB reviewing, The Good Society!

Happy Father’s Day. I think Indy month is a wonderful idea. DB reviewing anything would be a treat.

I love this! I’d love to hear what you thought of Jane Austen RPG, or also another one I don’t know much about is 13th Age (although it’s 10 years old at this point).

Wow. Great idea and this hits me in a lot of places. I'm all in. I don't much rant about it here, or on the Dungeoncraft Facebook Group or Discord server. But I regularly blog mostly about indie RPGs and the like. I just started a video channel (but not on Youtube). And finally, I'm even a teeny tiny publisher. Heck, even got a couple of Silver Bestsellers on Drivethru. So yeah. I'm excited about this. BTW, currently running Deathbringer. Goblinslayer is a pretty cool game got it. I like it. And the main one on my radar is Barbaric!/Cepheus Quantum. (A second edition Kickstarter is coming soon.) The ultra-light version of the Traveler rules. And full disclosure, one of those Silver Bestsellers is a supplement for Barbaric! So I may be a little biased. :)

Well then please, please, please mention the world's greatest VTT, Shard Tabletop. They have nothing but third party creators on there and they will be having Tales of the Valiant as well. It is a great VTT and the only one I use anymore. If you like crunchy combat then I can show you how I can run it super fast using Shard. It is intuitive and as their slogan states, Play the game, not the tool. Please do a video on them and I will push it. Any creators out there doing 5eish things, reach out to them as well. They are always looking for new creators and products to grow.

Happy Father's Day PDM! This is a great idea, like many I started with D&D in the mid 80's but wouldn't have returned to the hobby if it wasn't for the options offered by indie creators. Currently I'm a player in monthly games of 2AD&D and Cthulu and my two home games are both using Deathbringer. So it's Indie Month all year round in my house!

I can’t wait to play Good Society. I bought my wife a copy as we are both huge Jane Austen fans. I call Deathbringer and let him know when we get it to the table. I’m going to avoid 5E entirely this month, best I’m able.

We need a banner/logo to represent the idea. Any artists out there?

Happy Father’s Day! Keep up the awesome work.

NØKKEN_WAITS

this is absolutely fantastic. I hope this catches on!!!

I'm only playing Sword World 2.5 these days. Goblin Slayer TTRPG is based on it, but SW2.5 doesn't have the death spiral that Goblin Slayer has. It's an excellent game.

Darrin

Hope you had a great session. I am starting a new campaign next month and the core rules will be Deathbringer.

Since arriving at your channel I've learned that as a child we played AD&D pretty much by the rules, aside from a few house rules. However, my last "childhood group" game was actually D&D using Mage rules. When I returned to D&D it was 3.5 so the addition of skills was not a new idea to me. Then stepped away again and came back to a much broader concept of it all. I think hearing you and other creators stating that we're all playing D&D however we play it certainly allows the community be broadly creative, but still part of it.

Well, as modest proposals go, this is probably more productive than eating Irish babies…
