You can also combine the dynamic paint with an Ocean modifier set to displacement, to give the water some overall surface variation

Thomas Sturm

As always, I show up for the great practical tips and I stay for the design insights. Really loved your thoughts on a project being done when you can "feel" the textures.

IAN SIR!! A QUICK QUESTION DO YOU STILL USE NATHAN SIR'S COLOR TOOLS LIKE WHEN YOU WORK ON SCENES INVOLVING COMPIFY??

Arsh Waseem

Would love to see some more full shots but this time maybe with the compositing part also inclueded, would love to see how you setup layers, aovs, what you chose to export and how do you bring everything together in fusion

As a tip Ian! I recommend you try using AV1 encoding instead of H.264 for your mp4 outputs, it gives you better compression while preserving quality even better than h.265. So you can preserve your data a little more for tracking and other work flow.

Dear Ian, I have greatly enjoyed and benefitted from your wisdom and experience in these videos and the tutorials you have made. I am wondering whether you would be able to make an extended video when you get the time looking at de-lighting photoscans? Particularly difficult ones with no HDRI made of the location?

timothyj67

the video wont play in chrome... also..where can I buy some of the assets such as photoscanned people?

Jay Witsey

Ah I have actually just seen the 'optimizing photoscans' video! It would be great to get some updated tips but this video is great!

Ikrima

Where are the texture video?
