Hey guys, this months Patreon tutorial will be covering volume shading with Redshift. This tutorial will be available to all my Patrons on February 4th. As many of you may know we have been getting new volume features over the last few months. The most important of these being anisotropy and multiple scattering. This has finally opened the door for significantly nicer looking volumetric rendering with Redshift, in particular clouds.

In this tutorial I will be covering the concepts behind the new volume features and how we can apply it to our own assets. This tutorial will mostly be covering cloud shading but I will also touch on the pyro related features along with general fundamental concepts.

This is a tricky subject matter and has been highly requested, hopefully this will help dispel some of the difficulties people face when working with Redshift's volume shader. Thanks again for all the support and have a great week!

Would this be useful for shading whitewater in Houdini?
