(H2) Halloween 2: do you think that the movie would have been much more entertaining if it was just taking place in the hospital like the original Halloween 2 because after the supposedly dream sequence everything else seemed meaningless?

Nikki Sonrisa

Groundhog Day: Hey Tara and Aaron! I can’t count how many times I’ve seen this movie; almost like I was in my own Groundhog Day. If you could choose a day to live over and over again, what day would it be and why?

Jaden Rhodes

Halloween (2018) People love this movie, a lot of people put this high in their rankings. But for me it’s the most overrated one in the franchise, not the worst one, but it’s definitely not a good movie in my opinion. But I’m curious if y’all like this version of Laurie Strode, people say it’s played a little over the top, I happen to agree, and I think they nailed the PTSD stuff in H20

Groundhog's day: do you have a favorite day that you would like to repeat over and over not to correct anything but just to live it over day by day

Nikki Sonrisa

Friends: Aaron and John! How are you feeling about getting more Phoebe backstory? Which Phoebe one-liner about her past interests you the most?

ResonanceZ

Groundhog Day - One of my favorite movies of all time! Hope you guys enjoyed it lots! If you were stuck in a loop, what skills would you try and pick up? Also, sorry to the poor piano teacher who taught him for YEARS and will never get paid for it!

Randy Crews

Probably the saddest thing about Groundhog Day is how things got so contentious between Harold Ramis and Bill Murray while filming is that it ended their friendship for nearly 20 years. They didn’t reconcile until shortly before Ramis’ death in 2014. Late 70s - early 90s comedy was practically shaped by their collaborations.

Friends: Episode 7 of this season is one of the best of the entire show. Have you guys ever drunk dialed a crush or have been drunk dialed by someone who was crushing on you?

Tara ✨💫

Friends Hi John and Aaron! I hope you’re enjoying Friends S2 so far. What are your thoughts on the Ross and Rachel storyline? Do you like what the writers have done and do you agree with Rachel for ending things after finding the list?

AWESOMEJoe Movie Reviews

Halloween (2018): would you have preferred that the story be as it has been for the last 40 years then being brother and sister or do you like this new direction where they have no connection at all whatsoever but yet they continue to hint that there is some other kind of connection between the two of them what are your thoughts?

MadLove

Halloween (2018) - I find this to be the best sequel in the entire franchise and even believe that they could have ended it here and it would have been a great finale. I also like that the writers decided to retcon the sibling connection as John Carpenter hated that he wrote that into his sequel. Where does this film, as of now, fall in your ranking?

Stephanie Bri

Tara and Aaron love y'all excellent reactions. I saw Groundhog day in theaters and it felt like I saw the same movie 20 times that day lol my question is what do you think about the old man and what the movie is trying to convey about fate? also I used to work at a TV station my second question is do you think the portrayal of Phil as a weather anchor was realistic or did he play it too over the top?

thereelrejects

Indeed! My mistake! And thank you DkLounge! Just clicked on the wrong image! Updated! - PLD

AWESOMEJoe Movie Reviews

What do you believe was the cause of Bill Murray's character to be continuously going through the day over and over was it because of the storm or was it because of another entity causing him to experience this one in particular day what is the importance you find that makes groundhogs day very special for his character to experience with

John Fellios

Don’t you mean, John and Aaron for Friends?

Austin

Halloween (2018) Im assuming you figured out this only includes Halloween (1978) in this timeline so I wanted to ask which motive do you like the most between all the movies. 1. Wanting to kill his family (Basically every movie besides the modern ones) 2. The whole curse of thorn trilogy of him being controlled (Halloween 4-6) 3. No motive and just pure evil (Halloween (1978) - Modern Halloween)

TJ

Hi Tara and Aaron. For Groundhog Day so you think Bill Murray's character would fall back in his old ways? Or to be less pessimistic would he maybe temporarily revisit his old traits? Thanks!

thereelrejects

Sure do! I'm on a bad roll this morning., lol Wrong poster, wrong A-Reject Reactor. Thank you for letting me know! - PLD

Halloween (2018) - As stated before, there is a choose your own adventure for the Halloween timelines. Now that you are here, how do you feel about the franchise as a whole being so connected, but also disconnected at the same time? For example, this final timeline comes after Halloween (1978) retconning all of the murders in the other films. Do you think these plot changes help or hurt the franchise going forward to the last two films?

StonedTrunks

Halloween 2018: hey shejects, welcome to the 4th (5th if you count halloween 3 as seperate) timeline of the halloween series, I’m curious how do you guys feel about the change to remove halloween 2 from this timeline and in turn make micheal and laurie no longer related to eachother? It was a pretty controversial change as halloween 2 and the family connection has always been a big part of this series, do you guys think the change was for the better or do you miss the family connection? Love y’all!

thereelrejects

This is pretty much been asked or close enough that they will answer this otherwise - so I wanted to give you the chance to ask another!- PLD

Angela Vance

Bill Mury guys you should watch his Saturday night live skits they are awesome 👌. My question how would you handle would you go about your day normal knowing this shit ain't right? Or would you loose control on every grounds day?

Angela Vance

John Aaron who's your favorite character? Mine Joey and Phebie Love them

Halloween 2018: This movie respects the original Halloween 1978 idea that Laurie was just a random girl Michael chose to stalk before Halloween 2 1981 added the sister angle (which John Carpenter regretted and blamed on writer's block & alcohol). Which sequel did the Laurie trauma angle better and more realistic / justifiable H20 or 2018 considering Laurie's backstory in their own particular timeline?

Leon03

Halloween 2018: This franchise has a very bad habit of always starting a new sequel timeline with a very good strong movie [H2 (1981), H4 Return of Michael (1988), H20 (1998), Remake (2007] and ending their perspective timeline with a bizarre sequel [H3 Season of the Witch (1983), H6 Curse of Michael (1995), Resurrection (2002), H2 Remake (2009)]. Do y'all predict this trend will continue on with this new timeline?

Leon03

Halloween 2018 Funfact: The original Michael Myers (Nick Castle who is 78) returns for a brief cameo during the shot where Laurie shoots the mirror after she sees Michael. He also returns to do the breathing sounds of Michael throughout the movie as MOST sequels had a DIFFERENT stunt actor playing Michael with the exception of George P Wilbur (R.I.P who did Halloween 4 & 6) and Tyler Maine (he did both Rob Zombie remakes). John Carpenter (who did the music of the OG) also returns to do the soundtrack for all these new sequels alongside his son.

Thijs

for me and alot of young people Halloween 2018 was the first halloween movie i saw in the cinema and after the og this is my fav how high does this one go on your ranking she-jects?

Leon03

Bonus question if enough time: Halloween 2018. How would y'all rank all the Michael Myers masks so far?

StonedTrunks

Oh word? Alright i’ll just make a seperate comment

StonedTrunks

Hiya shejects, obviously haven’t seen the vid yet but i’m guessing you guys made a lot of comparisons to h20, what with this bein commonly referred to as h40 by fans, i wanted to know if which y’all preferred both in terms of the movie itself and the characterizations of laurie in both (laurie bein haunted but still trying to lead a normal life in h20 vs laurie being a shut in who trained herself sarah connor style in h40) love the reactions as always!

RC Flores

Halloween: I really like Halloween 2018. This is one of the longest running horror franchises. spanning 5 different decades. Late 70s through early 2020s. Overall, do you think the franchise has done a good job of keeping up with the times and appealing to new generations of slasher fans?

Sean Fleming

Roxy & Tara i think they did a great job bringing the original "void of emotion pure evil" version of Michael back that the Zombie movies lacked. How do you feel about this version? Also Im so happy they brought Carpenter into the mix on this could you see his hand at work in this movie? I definitely could. Anyway Y'all are the shit ✌️

MadLove

Halloween Fun Bonus (if there's time): How many of these nods to the previous films did you notice? - Laurie standing outside of school, watching Allyson in class the way Michael did Laurie in the og - The patients roaming outside for Michael to steal a car like in the og - Killing the kid in the car in a similar fashion to how he killed Annie in the og - The podcasters being killed in the gas station bathroom, a nod to the rest stop bathroom scene in H20, though he didn't kill the mother and daughter in that one - Taking the kitchen knife from the woman in the robe and rollers like in H2, but he didn't kill the woman in the original sequel - After he kills Vicky, he puts a sheet over her with holes cut out like a ghost, a nod to when he walked into the room with Linda pretending to be Bob as a ghost

This was asked earlier so you can ask another if you'd like! - PLD

thereelrejects

THis was kind of already asked earlier - so here's a shot for another question! - PLD

Updated and thank you for giving me a chance to change it!

Nice! Looking forward to the Halloween (2018) watch along!
