This one’s a personal blog post, so tune out if that’s not your vibe.

It’s 3AM, I went to bed at a reasonable hour but I awoke, unable to get back to sleep. This is primarily why I’m deciding to take a hiatus from releasing, because I know that my mind and body will hold dominion over me for a bit, and my sense of sleep and schedule will not be reliable.

I want to thank anyone and everyone for your supportive comments, anyone who may have supported both Blaire and I all these years. It’s tough losing someone whom you spent the better part of half a decade with, someone you were planning your life with.

But I’m not perfect. And I’ve made too many mistakes and must live with them. I regret not being open about my autism sooner, I regret not seeking help sooner, I regret not setting healthy boundaries for myself sooner. Then maybe we wouldn’t be here.

But I’m not here to dwell on my regrets, I’m here to be a form of therapy, so that I may learn from my mistakes and share/inspire others to not only better their lives but to do things the right way and be better than me.

I wanted to express my gratitude to you, my fans. As long as Blaire and I were together, I’ve been on YouTube doing this publicly putting myself out there for longer. In fact, I would have never met Blaire had I never done any of this. It was because of my position, what I was doing, that I ever even met Blaire as a friend, which eventually became something more.

So thank you all. Thank you for the happiest 5 years of my life and allowing me to meet someone who brought me true joy for the first time in my life. Until meeting her, I never felt love from anyone: family, friendships or other relationships. I knew nothing but a life of pain growing up, and FORM OF THERAPY was born out of my darkness, in hopes that I could provide some art and light into the world during my time on this Earth.

I’ve found a true appreciation for life, love, and joy in these past 5 years. I may be regretful that I lost it, but I will not insult or dishonor my time with Blaire and what she means to me, and to you all, by giving up or giving in.

I have been mentally working on myself, in a good healthy place anticipating Blaire’s return, and whilst this has tripped me up, I genuinely changed and have been committed to my renewal process and will only work towards better improving things.

I’ll be honest. I only filmed as much as I did, an insane and gigantic amount of content, previously, because I had love in my life. She gave me strength, she gave me perseverance and joy. I must warn that I will not be able to return to that same form because I’m alone again.

But it’ll still be good. I’m figuring it out. I’m sorry it’s such a long process. And this goes for both Blaire and every single one of you reading this: From the bottom of my heart, thank you for having supported me and thank you for introducing joy in my life.

I hope you all are as fortunate as I am to feel a love so deep, a joy so bright, and not lose it when you have it. Live brightly everyone.

Hello Jaehyuk PD. I like to be a silent follower and tend not to comment on posts, but I feel a need to do so now. I've been here for a few years now and have followed your journey from the sidelines. My perception of you is limited, but I know for a fact that all that love you have poured into your work and into your relationships stems from YOU. You are the one who's able to to feel and love this profoundly, it comes from YOU, and it has always been inside you and will always be inside you, even when people you love come and go. I hope you take the time you need to find your way back and to take care of yourself. Hopefully, you'll be able to fall asleep again tonight. Thank you for all that you do, and thank you for continuing to push forward. Much love.

Its okay to hit the reset button. I've been through this too and have hit rock bottom at least twice before finally coming up for air and getting to where I am now. Now you only have yourself to live for so live FOR YOURSELF no one else. It's okay to cry and scream and let it all out don't ever hold anything in. Go through all the emotions. Then eventually you'll start to find joy in even the smallest little things like a flower or good cup of coffee. Take long drives blasting your favorite songs. Eventually you'll learn what YOU love and what makes YOU happy with out having someone else there. It's not gonna be easy and it will hurt like hell. But you WILL get there and be stronger for it. Just please always know we love you and will wait for you no matter how long it takes. 💜

Thank YOU too PD. You have brought us so much joy and y'know, you do live up to the name of Form of Therapy. What you bring is a really healing and comforting energy and we truly resonate with it. You have so much passion and love for what you do and for the people around you, that's something I've learned about you in these 3 years I've followed you, and it's like someone else said, that all stems from YOU. That person is also right saying that you will always have that love inside of you no matter what, because you will, but I hope you give that love to yourself <3 I also understand what you mean about regretting not being open about your autism sooner, I've been in that boat and it's really challenging to navigate that, it's a thing, it's a label that you have to deal with, no only with others but with yourself, so I think while your feelings about how you handled it are 100% valid, you also did the best you could do, you did the best you could do with everything and that's important. Anyway, take all the time you need to get through this period, please take care of yourself and thank YOU again for everything and we'll always be here for you, just like you're here for us with everything you do :)

it will be a long healing process but I am sure you got this ☺️ We are all here if you need someone. And mistakes are done easily. We are all human. And it's okay to make them (as long as we learn from them ☺️) I really wish you all the best! 🤍 Fighting! And dont forget to love yourself (even when it seems too hard) And thank YOU for taking us on the journey. On YOUR form of therapy. I never felt as safe as I felt here. ☺️ (Because I honestly dont have a lot of friends, so this community and you make me happy every single day. I never feel alone. 🥹) take care and eat well! 🤍

As someone who has been actively watching for about 4+ years, roughly the same for patreon, I would like to share that you’re videos truly bring me a sense of comfort. I enjoy watching reactions because it allows for me to understand how someone with a completely different upbringing views the same thing as I do, and overall you really got me into so many different groups and music that I keep up with regularly. Healing is a long and slow process, but what matters is what steps you take to ensure that you don’t fall behind. Take all the time you need, really. Hitting those rough patches in life is difficult, but it’s even harder to admit to these feelings out loud, so thank you for being as transparent as you could be while dealing with everything. You’ve got this!

Also! Unrelated, but I think you’d like to know that recently not only has ZB1 been killing it vocally with their most recent stages, but Gunwook specifically has been given a lot of love for how all-rounded he is! Wasn’t sure if you wanted an update on your boy was all :) (Stages include their most recent KCON Energetic cover, immortal songs, and etc.) Most importantly, reactions should give you joy so I believe we would all love to see your reactions to what you choose ❤️❤️

PD, I have been a patron for a year now but I have been watching your videos for longer and in my life which was ruled by anxiety and self hatred, your videos were comforting and a safe space for me: I was always so burdened by everything I kept hidden inside me and to see someone express those feelings I felt about my mental health but was so scared to say out loud because of shame was eye opening to say the least, it helped me start a journey of my own personal healing, relying heavily on your kpop reactions because Kpop was my one true happiness. I loved seeing you and Blaire's interactions, you both were so sweet so when I saw this message, I was incredibly heartbroken, especially when I saw how much you were hurt over it. First of all, it must be devastating to lose someone you love and its more hard when you feel that you are at blame but to me, you never failed at anything- YOU ARE HUMAN- and its absolutely okay to make mistakes and though you have had a lot of rough patches, you have come out stronger and persevered and I admire the hell out of you for it. Rest, breathe and cry- do everything you can to get the mental peace in your life and we will be here when you are back because healing is a long process and you need to take that long time as its mentally and emotionally exhausting. I just want to end, that even though I can't speak for everyone and I can't change your thoughts, you were my sanctuary and you helped me grow despite what you believe so you did fulfill in becoming a form of therapy so I am grateful to you.

Sending much respect and support your way. Your story and your very soul touch many others through a level of vulnerability and transparency one rarely sees. From someone who understands the courage it can take to just get out of bed and attempt to tackle any part of the day during those low lows, I have felt grateful for the privilege of witnessing some of your journey, insights, reflections, and relatable challenges. Engaging with you and your content where our passions and experiences align has lifted my spirits and determination time after time, but more importantly given me a safe space and permission to reach out and share a piece of myself back. I will just leave it at say 'Thank You' for being a part of my own ongoing journey to healing.

I echo everyone else's sentiment, but I'll add something else. You provided all of us with a form of therapy, and I think I can speak for the majority when I say we are all here to provide you with a form of therapy. All you need to do is ask and we'll come running!

Brittney Danielle

I’m not super chatty in comments, so just sending love and support 💜 You got this!!

I may not have gone through the same experiences as you, but I understand what you're going through. I'm one of the people who respect and support you. Even though I haven't faced the same challenges as you, I want you to know that I'm here for you and will try to make you feel better when we're alone. Time is a great healer, and you are not alone in this journey. I hope you get enough rest and find inspiration in a safe and comfortable place, even if things are not going well. I have worked hard in life, facing both good and bad times, with my artists and music. Even though one of my most beloved artists is no longer with us, I am determined to live a good and strong life for him. I have faith in you, talented man, that one day you will be stronger, more resilient, and will be able to smile from within. I wish you happiness, and I will always be waiting for your return.

I would agree with everyone here, I think I have been watching you +6 years and I have felt a family outside mine... take all the time you need, it is our time to give you back all the good therapy we have received from you.

Hey PD, I've been watching you for quite a bit now and have seen the several ups and downs of this patreon. I've heard a lot of promises from you and i could always tell they seemed burdening, however, the new laid back direction you've taken with the patreon lately feels much more refreshing. I didn't want to watch reactions from you knowing that you were in a bad headspace and maybe not fully able to process what you were watching, but now i feel a completely different vibe in your recent videos and it's such a good thing. I truly hope you can keep this type of "schedule" or routine with the patreon up, because it seems to be working the best for you out of every solution you've tried. As someone with severe ADHD and other mental health issues, i know what it feels like to try your hardest and somehow seem to always fall through with promises you make to others and yourself. Self improvement is non linear and there will always be trip ups that send you off the path you thought you were going, but all we can really do is try picking ourselves back up again and moving forward, even if that foreward is a step back from where you were previously. Much love and support to you always, Blaire as well. Wishing both of you the best ❤️
