lots of qualms ab this as title track (Anton having like one line 🥲) and why they didn't do that beautiful prechorus again but im excited to hear what you think about it compared to the other bsides off the album!

Imma be honest this might be my least fave riize TT😅 It might just be because I hate repetitive chorus like this but I feel like this song after the insane energy that Fame and Bad Bag Back brought is such a weird shift… I gotta listen to the album but tbh even from what I'm seeing it doesn't seem like people are tuning into this as much as Fame

This is a 10/10 song until the first chorus drops and it suddenly becomes a fairly generic 5/10 song, so I'm disappointed. The whole EP is a step down from their other releases (although maybe on par with the first Japanese release). It's just not as memorable or unique as most of their stuff. I've been listening to it around 6 times, and I can't remember a single melody line right now. Even so, they're not bad songs, exactly, just less good, and the first and last track are potentially ones I could end up loving, we'll see.

I'm just gonna pretend "Fame" was the lead single to calm my disappointment as a fan, like make a fake 'mixtape' with "Fame" as the first song, then this as a second song, then "Something's in the Water" from the "Fame" single, followed by the rest of the new EP. For such a Jersey Club (?) shout-chorus song, "Do Your Dance" kind of failed on all fronts for me (in my opinion). I was reminded of "Whoomp (There It Is)" but in a not-so-charitable way (and "Whoomp (There It is)" also drags on, but this was back when songs were made for hours-long dancing + DJ sets, so there was a purpose). This was a short song but it also felt too long from how much the chorus took up the song time. SM, you're known for VOCAL BRIDGES, what the hell happened? This is like if "2 Baddies" didn't have a bridge or shafted the vocals, and it's still one of my least favorite NCT 127 songs (sorry).
