Comic #937: Season 2 (Patreon)

I'm hoping this one is relatable. Every time a new season starts and an old dungeon comes back into rotation I remember the mechanics only after they obliterate me... "Ohhhh yeahhh, whoops, I remember this now".

This particular comic didn't change much from my original draft. Originally I had it planned for Keydar and Narya, but I realized I would have more fun with it using Gigz and Nyte because they are generally competent.

The other change I had was the final panel. Initially they were going to be standing in the dungeon saying something like "Do you remember this place at all?" and Gigz would say, "Nope." I felt like that initial version didn't quite get across the idea that they think they remember the place only to find out in practice that they don't. So it occurred to me I could have their corpses say it instead.

Also, minor change, but in panel 3, she initially called Douche, "guy", and then "bro", then "tryhard", and finally, "nerd". I kept trying to find the perfect word. I wanted something a bit silly, and dismissive. Somehow nerd was perfect.
