Comic #966: One Minute to Midnight (Patreon)

I knew I wanted to poke fun at some of the UI changes coming to the next expansion. Originally Anduin wasn't part of this at all. It was going to be a conversation between two players. Using Anduin ended up being a fun way to make the UI changes a part of the lore.

Initially I was going to show a broken UI in the final panel similar to #677, but I wanted to have it be a little more on-topic for the upcoming changes. So I decided to use Lua errors with some funny text in them, similar to what I did in #734.

This one took me a bit of time because I kept changing Anduin's expression to be more and more insane, especially in the last two panels. I knew I wanted him to have a hyper serious expression in the second to last panel, to help his desperation in the final panel land better.

I knew I wanted him squatting. In my script for the comic I wrote "Anduin squatting slav style". I couldn't tell you why, but something about it was funny in my head.
