Man I barely even remember this one. What the heck did the first part of the comic have to do with the end of the comic? What was going on in my brain? Was the whole setup just to make a reverse roleplaying joke? Why did I mash those two ideas together? How strange. Even I don't understand it so I'm curious how others interpret it on first reading.

I'm not gonna lie though, I do really like the idea of fantasy characters roleplaying as boring office workers. I should have leaned into that. Just think, they could have been LARPing about doing excel spreadsheets to the annoyance of everyone around them.

I went into the comic file to see if I could make out more detail of the DM screen and got this:

C&C as Cubicles and Condos instead of D&D is a good little joke.

Other than the fact that the setup and the punchline have nothing in common, this is another comic where I wish I had cut down on some of the dialogue in the setup. Keydar stanning for the Death Knight and his ponytail is fun so I would be tempted to remove Gigz entirely, but then the punchline is even more irrelevant.

I eventually made a comic that was more explicit about Keydar's romantic preferences, but I can't remember if it was my initial intention for Keydar to be romantically interested in the Death Knight in this comic, or if it was just a platonic obsession because of his awesome ponytail. I think it was most likely the former just because I usually think of most of these characters as kind of asexual and/or aromantic for the most part, but I have sometimes broken that mold to make a joke here and there.
