Comic #743: Simcraft (Patreon)

Another Sylvanas joke. I feel like I've made a lot of those now. You might recognize the simming abacus from #600.

I really felt like doing a comic on sim rankings. I have done a few before, my personal favorite being #558. Originally I thought about having a historical scene involving a famous historical figure simming prior to a large battle, but I felt like I had done very similar meta comics before, like #633. Oh look, that one also ends in a Sylvanas joke. Am I that predictable?

I'm not entirely pleased with how panel 2 turned out. The way I make characters out of focus is by drawing them normally, before applying a blur filter to the image. In this case, the problem is that  I did not draw Keydar in his entirety behind the piece of paper, so when I applied the blur, you can see parts of the void have blurred into view. Notice the slight halo below the card and at the bottom of the frame. Next time I'll make sure to produce the entire image, even if parts aren't being seen.
