Comic #752: Tower of the Damned (Patreon)

I love taking those powers, because the buffs are so powerful. But ultimately it made me wonder how far I was willing to let the powers humiliate me before I chose something else. That's basically the inspiration for this comic.

In many ways, writing this one was a lot of fun, because I was able to create so many jokes within the various powers, especially the Mawrat ones. Also, I'm really proud of the dumb joke in panel 3, where he just says "Pffft", thus using no vowels.

Also, I would definitely pick the far left power in the first panel. I leave them in my bag like a dummy for the whole run, then have to use them on the vendor at the end. The power ultimately always gives me more phantasma, which I can no longer spend because I destroyed the vendor.
