I worked hard on that last panel. I really didn't want to phone it in because the entire joke rested on it.

There was a lot to fit into that panel and I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it work. The final panel needed to include Narya's trampled body, Nyte with her quest marker, and then the rest of the cast crowding together. This meant we needed to see from below Narya on the ground all the way up to above Nyte's head. You might notice I expanded the height of the final panel to accomodate all that.

I first drew Keydar, then put in Gigz, and realized there was a sizeable gap between his body and hers. The problem was their heads are so big that when they bunch up against each other, their heads touch before the rest of their bodies do. Thankfully I was able to draw Miji in there to fill the gap.

I was a little worried that the second to last panel would give away the punchline, but in the end, I still think it's funny even if you know what's coming. But out of sheer curiosity, did you all realize immediately that she was turning the exclamation point into a question mark?

Nancie

I knew she was turning it into something, but I didn’t know what. Otoh, I barely remember the question mark markers, and don’t quite remember what it means.

Helicoder

Thought she was breaking it at first. I think having a few cracks or a bit of damage on the ? in the final panel from the bending would be cool. Fun story arc! Be interesting to see what the NPCs think of Naryas stealing of their property...
