Comic #830: Healthy Competition (Patreon)

For those who don't know or remember, the Defias Pillager damaged more players than any other NPC at least during Vanilla. The joke is that the pillager will destroy him in DPS. I was a little worried people wouldn't get the joke, either because they don't know/remember the Pillager, or because the Pillager killing low level players didn't translate well enough to raid DPS for the punchline make sense.

This idea was sitting around for a while. I always wanted the Pillager reveal to be the punchline. Originally it was going to be Narya going on a quest to find the greatest mage of all time to give him tips on the ultimate DPS rotation, but I couldn't make it work. Though something about him discovering the ultimate rotation was fireball, fireball, fireball, is still funny to me. I could still use that in the future, especially if the pillager is now on their roster.
