Comic #872: Conflict of Interest (Patreon)

I was looking at some of my older comics trying to find inspiration and I thought of this really simple idea. It felt more like one of my old comics.

This one is a bit of a callback to #91. I decided to make the quest exactly what Keydar thought it was back in that original comic. In my mind, Maury got so tired of players ignoring the quest text and murdering Gurgleblargh that he just leaned into it.

There are also elements of #775 as well. I like to keep characters consistent whenever possible. His name was Glurglr in #776, but screw it, it's close enough. Maybe Gurgleblargh is a common tongue bastardization.

Also, I was trying to think of a name for the NPC and in the end went with Maury McTask as a bit of a play on Marshal McBride.
