As much as I like all 5 dwarves, I would rather choose 3 or 4 to keep gimli a secret for the non-patreons

The other two videos have thumbnails w/ all the dwarves, yeah? I think the viewers will understand what’s happening and ‘click’ if they recognize the “collection” of dwarves they have come to enjoy so much!

I like Gimli on the gold background but I really have to go with all 5 dwarves! I think it would be a perfect thumbnail for the song!!

Probably going to get outvoted, but I like the single dwarf shots - you can see a lot more detail on them individually and saves the reveal of there being five of them

I think that number 4 is the best figure, but the gold background behind Fili pops the most. I don't know if you can change that, but that's the combo I'd go for.

Hmmm. This is actually a toughie. People know you and your face the best, so it makes sense to have your un-prosthetic'd face on the thumbnail. But it's a dwarf song, so having one of the dwarves on the thumbnail makes sense to draw the eye. I think I like one of the solo shots best (rather than all 5), I just can't decide which.

I like all 5 dwarves the best, however, I'm not sure they'll show up well in a thumbnail. My 2nd favorite is the 4th though if Gimli was on a blue background, I'd choose him!

If you wanted to keep the new character a secret but show more than one figure, you would need to make a new image with just 4 dwarves in it. But really the thumbnail needs to make someone who is just scrolling go "what is that??" and click on it. It's not always about song representation.

While all the thumbnails are good, I’ve narrowed it down to #’s 3 & 4 (the print over # 1 destroys it). The whole group would be ideal - if they could be spaced closer together. Flipping mental coin: # 3

This is difficult... it makes sense to go with the group shot to emphasize this is the continuation of the trilogy, but I have to say I like 3 and 4 the most. Also it might be a fun surprise to reveal Gimli in the video!

Kili on blue caught my attention the best when I did the 'lay them out side by side and turn and look to see what catches best' test, so I voted 4, but the group shot was a close second.

#1 is a little confusing for people not in-the-know, unless you're a patron and have been in on the conversation about Gimli, you may not have any idea what's going on. I would have voted for #2, but the dwarves on the ends are cut off a little, and it just doesn't make the "professional" cut for that reason. #3 and #4 are both equally good, but I chose #4 because for people who know Geoff but aren't that familiar with the dwarves, it's the easiest to identify him and know more of what you're going to be getting. So, as usual, I ended up picking a low-ranking option...oh, well, what else is new?

I’m liking Thumbnail 1. I can’t really put my finger on why. Maybe it’s just because I’m used to seeing the other dwarves and Gimli is the new character? I feel like it will draw people in more with it being one character and people can see the new makeup.

OK. I love #4, but I have to pick what I think multi millions of people will like. #2 is kind of crowded so either 1 or 3. That's a hard pick. #3 has a familiar dwarf so people will relate this to their enjoyment of the other Hobbit songs. #1 has a new dwarf which could entice people even more. It's really hard to say. But since Gimli has a awesome beard and is the "main dwarf" of the ensemble, I'm going to have to go with #1. It really helps to open all 4 and then look at them on the task bar where they will be thumbnail sized.

This is a hard desicion. I like the single shots but this is a song all dwarves know and sing over years and years. So maybe the shot with all dwarves will fit best with the song.... but number 4 is what i would click because I want to know what's behind

All 5 dwarves. I haven't been able to download the all the images lately so I went with memory of the choices in the video. This one has the 4 dwarves we know and love along with the 5th dwarf Gimil. In your other 2 dwarf videos your thumbnail had all 4. Why not keep the same theme as well? That's another reason I chose that one. But in the end you choose the one you like best like you always do 😉

I'm torn between 1 and 4. 1 is a better dwarf image, but it is hazy or soft on the edges while 4 is clear and crisp. It is a great image of Geoff, but it doesn't feel like a dwarf at all.

Tbh, I think an attention grabbing thumbnail would be the point near the end of the video where all five are shown, but the four are fading out. It hints to all, but has an air about it that speaks to something different.

Either #2 or #3. I do like all 5 the best. They tell the whole story. If #3 could have the title in front of the character like #4, it would be better. I also like #4 with the blue background.

Okay, just hear me out 🤣 There's a moment in the second (faster) verse, on the word 'shining', when Thorin is looking up and the background is gold behind him. It's my favorite moment visually, and I think it would be perfect for this. Not that you asked for a 5th totally different option 🤣 It just, the look in your eyes is like you're actually seeing what you're describing, and it's perfect.

I voted for #2, and like #4 as a close second. "Durin" is going to attract LotR fans, so they'd love to see all five dwarves (I'm guessing, as I only read The Hobbit once, many moons ago in high school, to be able to talk about it with a cute guy who liked it). People who are looking for your stuff (as opposed to LotR stuff) will like #4.

I think all 5 dwarves connects better with the other dwarf song thumbnails, but I do like K&L's idea of one where 4 are fading out.

***Shock***. I just downloaded all 4 thumbnails to my photos. That rarely happens. Now that I've actually seen the thumbnails I'm torn between 2, 3 and 4. My eyes are drawn to #2. But still like 3 over 4. Again. In the end it's your final decision.

From the point of view of a non-LOTR fan, (I know, but I really tried to read the books and not liking them didn’t make me want to see the movies) I think the group shot is a little much. #3 is recognizable as Geoff, and enough to make someone who’s seen the other LOTR videos want to watch. And it’s interesting enough that new viewers might watch to find out what the make-up is for.

The 5 dwarves will make an excellent header. For a thumbnail, I prefer Kili with the blue background; the text and character balance feels better than the other two. And, I lean towards anything blue anyway, so there's that.

I prefer Gimli because the makeup and costume are incredible! It also helps this song stand out from the other Dwarf songs you've done. Ranked-choice voting for the other options would be 4-3-2
