First, the good news - Our little fella was feeling pretty gross yesterday, so we took him to get a covid-19 rapid test, (believe it or not he giggled through the whole thing) and he tested NEGATIVE! (Big sigh of relief). Kathy and I have tests scheduled for Wednesday just to make doubly sure that we're all in the clear. Thank you all so much for your kind words and support, you're all incredibly wonderful people and I'm lucky to have you.

You're also extremely well read, I was amazed and impressed by the amount and variety of suggestions for narrations and now it falls to you to choose... but choose wisely... 😉

Happy news, glad so far everyone is ok and hope it stays that way.

Zara (ZAYRAY!)

Happy that it came back negative.... how much candy did you bribe him with? 🤣

Stacey Post

Glad to hear he doesn't have Covid, sorry to hear he was feeling gross, and amused to hear that he's such a brave guy.

Maggie S

Negative is good! Stay healthy.

Tom Williams

I did one of those rapid tests to visit my Dad in assisted living and was surprised at how tolerable it was.

Miranda de la Parra

I'm so happy he's okay, and I hope you and Kathy are, too!

Caroline

I’m glad it’s good news for your little one 🙌🏻 Fingers crossed that both of you are clear too 🤞🏻

MadTeaCat_86

Excellent news☺️ Now for prayers you and your lovely bride are in the clean.

Christina Dowdican

So happy to hear that Master William was such a good trouper when he had the test done & super thankful he came back negative. Continued orayers that you & Ms Kathy also come back negative.

Luna Koole

I got tested yesterday for COVID-19, and still waiting for the results

Alex Sage

I’m so glad he’s okay. And I really wanna hear the monkey’s paw.

Jojo Hale

Continuing to send you all good vibes and hope your tests come back negative. Hope little guy feels better soon!

Julia Cable

And I still think we all deserve a valentine's gift... a nice sonnet or Lord Byron. Glad your boy is healthy.

Tra Mason

Kids will always take it in their stride lol. So glad he is okay. Sending best wishes to you and Kathy for good results too.

Jessica

So glad to hear that william is all in the clear and I am praying that yours and kathy tests come back negative too

Jim Myers

Glad to hear he's ok. Many blessings to you and your family.

Alaethea (Ali)

Ooh Byron or I'd love to hear the Garden of Proserprine by Algernon Charles Swinburne. I think that would be just lovely.

Olivia

So glad it was negative! I’m praying yours and Kathy’s are as well.

Kristin Taggart

Whew, glad your little guy is negative! Hope he feels better soon, and hope you and the wifey stay healthy.

Mary 🦊

Good news for William 🙏🏻

Elizabeth Ratzlaff

Happy to hear that William tested negative!!! Hope you and Kathy’s tests go well too!!

Rio

That's a relief, some good news indeed! And only now am I realizing that choosing one story from such a great list is even harder than suggesting them... I'd love to hear them all 😆

Tracie Schlaak

Good news for the Castelluccis! I hope your and Kathy's tests come back negative as well. At least you have better weather in Orlando. It's -15 in Wisconsin. Take care.

Elaine Lyon

So glad he's alright. I'm currently isolating as one of the kids at work tested positive (asymptomatic thankfully) and I'm having to do the home tests 4 times this week 🤢. It's really unpleasant. Kinda feels like your brain gets tickled 😂. Here's hoping you and Kathy are both alright xx

Sandy Mrotek

Glad that William is okay and will pray that all of you are okay. I have had relatives that have had to go through the testing and it is not fun but they were all okay also. And as a side note - tell Eli that I like his taste in sandwiches. They are some of the best. Keep safe and keep healthy.

Stacey Post

If he's going to read Byron, he has to do it on video while wearing one of his poet shirts. I always thought he looked Byronesque in those.

Amanda Yarbro

So glad he's OK. Hoping you are as well!! Don't know how he giggled during the test though

Robin Olsen

Happy William is OK🌟 hopeful that you and Kathy are also🙏

Debs Badger

Yay! for good news! 🥳 Hopefully you and Kathy will be negative as well. And this choosing thing is HARD. *grumpy pout*

Sophie Plourde

William is awesome haha :) Glad he is ok, I hope you and Kathy are too!

Rick Duff

Hunt for Red October.....😂😅

Rick Duff

I spent the last month kickin COVID. I’m 58, was a bit overweight (I lost20 # on the Covid diet), and admitted myself when my pulseox hit 85. 3 days in the hospital, 2 weeks on steroids, and I’m pretty good except for still not tasting ...... I’d much rather an ol bear like me have it than y’all......... y’all make me smile 😬

Katie D

So glad William tested negative, hoping you and Kathy do as well! 💗

Jancie Sheppard

I’m so relieved to hear that William’s ok. 🤞🏻that you and Kathy are as well. I love all of these suggestions. I hope you’ll be able to get to all of them at some point (you know, in your oodles and oodles of free time 😜)

Stacey Post

Oh, don't think for a second that the suggestion-makers will stop advocating for their favorites.

Rio

Haha, of course, I indeed made one of the suggestions... and it's doing real good so far! 👀 But still I'd also love to hear all the other suggested options. 🤣

Dominique

Glad to hear that your little man is testing negative and I hope the same will be true for you guys as well. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers. Keep up the terrific work but don't forget to stay safe Warm wishes Dominique

Lourdes Sanz

Yeiiii to William testing negative!!! those are wonderful news! I am so excited on the narrations! all of them are incredible choices!

Stacey Post

Looks like "The Little Mermaid" is way out in front. I wonder how many of the people voting have actually read the original fairy tale.

Katie D

Yeah, Disney really sugar-coated that one lol. The original is much darker...

Alaethea (Ali)

Hey, that's why I voted for it! I was hoping for the non Disney version.

Stacey Post

I found it a really beautiful story, ever since I first read it when I was 8. (Told you it explained a lot about why I'm so twisted.)

Tara Congo

Even though I didn't vote for it (biased towards my own suggestion, haha), I really love the pre-Disney tale too. Dark, but beautiful (like most of the old original fairy tales). I had a cassette tape audio reading of The Little Mermaid and The Wild Swans that I listened to on repeat as a kid.

Dominique

This is what Hans Christian Andersen is known for, dark and often really sad stories, like the Snow Queen ( loved it when I was a child), the Steadfast Tin Solider or the little Match Girl just to name a few. I would be excited to hear the little Mermaid read by Geoff. Or any story by the Brothers Grimm for that matter. The original stories of the Brothers Grimm were also often with dark and often really brutal endings but the people who collected them and published them as Fairy Tales for the kids would sometimes change the ending of the stories to a more child friendly version. Can't wait for my bedtime story read by my absolute favorite narrator 💗

Stacey Post

The Brothers Grimm did not have the grace and beauty of the Andersen tales. I wonder if Geoff's ever read the original. He said he had no idea it had been written by Hans Christian Andersen. We may have set him up for an unpleasant surprise.

Dominique

Oh dear, you might very well be right with this, but I'm sure he'll handle it like a man! Growing up in Germany I listened to both, Grimm's Fairy Tales and Andersen Tales and I loved both. However I still can't finish the Little Match Girl without crying. Let's hope, he's not backing out of narrating the Little Mermaid if in fact it wins. Can't wait for the finished product. Have a wonderful day, Dominique

Tara Congo

I'm not sure that it'd be that much of a surprise (or at least not an unpleasant one) - every one of those 5 stories has a pretty grim side to them, so it doesn't seem like he was necessarily looking for a lighthearted Disney tale. Hopefully anyway, ha.

Jess M

The Steadfast Tin Soldier was one of my favorites as a child and The Little Match Girl is beautiful. But there was one tale by Hans Christian Andersen where I couldn't decide whether I like it or not: The Tinderbox. Even as a child I thought that the soldiers' actions were questionable and I couldn't understand why the princess would want him. And of course the ending got changed a little bit for children's television. At least in the movies/shows I have seen.

Arlene Jacobs

So glad William tested negative. Hoping the same for you and Kathy!!!

WisconSims

I did The Cremation of Sam McGee in high school forensics. Obviously, that's what I'm voting for. It's so fun to make your own, and Service has such a wonderfully whimsical way with words.

Cindy Jones

I've always loved the story of The Monkeys Paw. It's stuck with since I was a kid. I even bought for my grandkids Danny Kaye's movie Hans Christian Anderson ... so any of these will be great. I'd just like to see some "New" old classics to be rediscovered. And what a platform as yourself to present it. 😉 Just saying 😌 Glad to hear your little man tested negative. Prayers for all

Stacey Post

From his fans? I'm betting he knows us better than that.

Miranda de la Parra

I hope you & Kathy have the results already and they're negative ❤️

Blair Toblan

Glad you hear your young fella doesn't have Covid. It's a worry in this weird world we've been dealt. In regard to taking a pause: Family's got to come first. We'll be waiting with bated breath for your return, but our support won't wane, I'm sure. Congradulations on 16 Tons, it's success is entirely on the back of your talent, and the hard work that you guys put into producing such amazing content. I honestly don't doubt you're on the doorstep of runaway success. I would actually be surprised if you were not aproached for movie and tv voice work. And of course your music will continue to succeed as long as you (and the VoicePlay lads) put all you do into it. The only downside: Success eats time. But as you start to blow the roof off, try and squeeze the occasional amazing Geoff solo project out for us fans. Love to you and your family.

I don't know if anyone has already suggested this.. King of the Road - Roger Miller
