I'm latin teacher, so maybe this helps: Antiquis (Dativ Pl.) - for the old In aeternum - forever, in eternity So: the grammar is ok. 'Antiquus' is just an odd choice if one adresses people, because it implicates 'ancient' or 'reverented' and is mostly used for things, not persons, where something like 'senex' or 'vetus' would be more common. Don't get me wrong, you could absolutly use 'antiquus', but the mental image in this case is someone Santa-Claus-like. (Sorry, English is not my native language)

@ClauSto That's very helpful, thanks! Yeah, we were wondering about antiquis vs. senex. I actually like antiquis better for this because the alliteration in the phrase sounds cool, it's more gender neutral (I think?), and I feel like most English speakers could figure out antiquis/antique/old pretty easily even if they didn't know any Latin. I was also wondering if maybe it could be used as an adjective: "Antiquum in Aeternum." (Voc. Sing.) Which I think would mean something like "Old Forever!" or "Ancient Forever!" Idk though, my Latin is pretty rusty.

I'm very late to this party, but I have to say that THIS is worth the price of admission. Pretty sure I've been an old boring person since I was born. I think beautiful music made by regular old boring people is the most enjoyable. Drama just takes away from it. Love this!
