I absolutely love your videos, but I think I love the Behind the Scenes videos a bit more. I love to see how it's all done visually. It's just always been my thing, even when it comes to movies. It's like opening up a toy as a kid and seeing how it works and still be fascinated by the toy. I love seeing how everything comes together. It helps me appreciate the actual video even more. Thank you so mulch for sharing this! (See what I did there? 😆) This was the most in-depth BTS I’ve seen. It really gives us a look into what needs to be done to make the perfect video. Next time, can we please see some BTS of the video editing process? You might think we’d find that boring, but I can guarantee you that we would find it fascinating. Now for some personal observations: Your parents’ yard is gorgeous. William is adorable. Your whole family is adorable, actually. Was that storage for just Pattycake Productions or for the whole mall? I mean….a washer and dryer, tires, and a smoker, not to mention various tables, chairs, and retail displays. What the fork? William going “Beep, Beep, Beep,” as he’s backing up the toy dump truck- 😂🤣😂🤣😂

I love seeing all the wizardry that goes into the making of these videos, but this BTS was stolen by dogs and children! Loved Pop Pop's dog (I assume) wisely hiding behind a bush when he saw William dragging that huge hammer. Smart pupper! And Layne's little puppy girl taking a ride in the truck. I hope Layne knows that chauffeur service will be expected from now on. 🤣

This was the perfect BTS! It had all the things! The glitz, the glamour, the adorable child… I’m so impressed that you made such a cool looking video in such a space. I REALLY loved Kathy’s explanation of how you keep each Geoff in his own space on camera, as well as all the other technical aspects. I could watch an hour-long BTS, seriously. Ah, this answers so many questions that I in my brain about the whole “cloning-while not cloning process” thanks to both of you for that, as well as the extra time to bring this out to us. I’m starting to understand some of the technical that goes on which is always interesting to watch and learn. And yes, you find many strange things in storage closets as well as basements. Head scratching that why, for sure.

I really appreciated seeing all you and Kathy do to produce these videos for us. I enjoyed the closer look at what goes on behind the scenes. How you set up the camera angles and the "cloning" process. It's more interesting then you would think. It was awesome of Layne to provide the space even though it proved to be a bit of a challenge. It did look great in the video and I'm pretty sure you didn't need a workout that day. Also, it was great to see the 16 Tons guy again. William is so adorable. He was so sweet to comfort Layne's doggie - sorry, forgot the name. Nice to see the dump trucks getting put to good use. Thank you to you and Kathy for all your hard work. Now I need to go wash my hair 😂.

Y’know, I gotta say just one more thing: That you include shots of Pop Pop’s shed, and William carefully unloading mulch into the garden with his dump truck, and Layne helping clear the storage room, and William giving Melo a ride…all those things make us feel so *included*. It's just amazing that two (admittedly very talented) people can produce a polished final video that you would swear had an entire production crew working on it. Thank you so much for the BTS videos. It's fascinating to see the filming process. Somebody else (sorry, didn't note who) suggested showing some of the editing process. That would be absolutely fascinating. I remember when I was younger and watched the BTS from The Lord of the Rings extended Box Set. I was baffled and loved thst since that day. I always wanted to work in that industry whether it would have been the film- or videogame or theater industry. It is crazy how much work goes into it from the idea to the visualization and they do it all with a minimal crew and in a very limited time period.

Thank you so much for the insight you two, that was amazing and informativ. I kind of relate to the amount of work you do, because my husband and I are freelance visual merchandiser (decoration of shop windows, on fairs, events of all sorts, building displays etc.) and we have done some decorations for photoshoots and filming. You are kind of involved (well sometimes) in the kreativ process from idea/visualization to organizing material of all kinds to building something to decorating to occationally seting the lights and breaking everything down at the end ...we are „only“ missing the shooting/filming process itself and editing/post production (and singing beautifully- well I like to sing sang while working but minus the beautz...) I don‘t say by any means, that we have your amount of work or outcome but I understand the logistics and all the shenanigans and behind the scenes for a single beautiful image or film or for-the-moment-point-of-sale. That is, next to your work for Voiceplay, raising a toddler and having kind of a private life...? XD A LOT! The creativ process and brain-until-it-explodes-work alone is a lot. Kudos to Kathy and you (and William who is of course an important and adorable member of the crew - wait until he swings that hammer :-D ). And you also have an amazing and creativ group of friends for support. But you know, if you have enough of cleaning Lanes creativ chaos cabin or cloning yourself, (btw everyone still loves the Geoffclones and I don‘t see anyone getting tired of them) and a video like High and Dry or Country Roads is a little bit less stressful then I think everyone here is on board and as excited for that as well. And as some people already mentioned, something upbeat or something outside can also switch up things, if that is something you want. Anyway, sorry for that loooooong comment and stay healthy and save everyone. You‘re all awesome human beings.

Thank you for this both sweet and technically interesting vid. Really enjoyed to see all the parts of creating process, and William with trucks, and Melo, and Layne, and Layne's secret mess room all together with the nerdy filming details (and I love this nerdy stuff!). And Kathy simulating your height with the "rabbit ears" was so sweet, I think she probably will need a high hat and a bathroom stool for that (my own experience as short girl going everywhere with a ladder).

Beautiful cameos from William and Melo. Fun to see Kathy trying to be as tall as Geoff and the silly, tiptoey 'don't move the stairs!' This was a really good snapshot of the effort you guys have to put into the shooting of the video alone, on top of arranging, recording, planning, dressing (star and set), editing, etc., etc., etc.. Geoff, I know you want the views, but film of you changing would be a whole different channel and I don't think Kathy is up for running an OnlyFans as well ;-) "Layne? Love any/all of your behind the scenes videos. I’m a techie and always enjoy watching the work and the equipment used to make the magic happen. Regarding this particular video, I now have severe eye strain from all the pausing and squinting in my vain attempts to determine the brand and model of these 3 cameras of yours! Any regrets with them - purchasing decisions you might alter if you could just get that time machine working? I was trying to interpret the settings you were using on the view’s screens.
