Listening to this podcast brought back a long-forgotten memory from my childhood. I remember switching the Mega Drive on and accidentally knocking the Sonic 3D cartridge just a little as I sat down. Lo and behold, I was now looking at the level select screen! I was never able to replicate this, my brother didn't believe me and in the years that followed I started to wonder if I'd somehow invented this memory.

This was actually my first Sonic game - I am fairly sure I remember playing it on the first PC in the house as well. It was also notably, one of the first games I remember thinking was bad. Great episode all the same :D
