It's taken five years but we've finally caught up with the game that was released around the time we began our Metroid series of podcasts. Leon, Darren, Jon and Sean - along with contributions from the Cane and Rinse listeners - face their fears and the familiar yet different environments of planet ZDR in Metroid Dread. Was this follow-up to Fusion worth the 19-year hiatus? Listen in and find out what we thought of MercurySteam's second Samus sortie.Music featured in this issue:1. Just started listening and Jon talking about the stickers he got with his copy reminded me of the really nice Metroid Dread pin badges you could get from the 'My Nintendo' store by redeeming those otherwise useless platinum points. I'll put a pic in the Nintendo chat thread along with the others I've collected from the store. Always worth looking out for new ones because they're free and are pretty cool!

I love the phrase 'moment to moment locomotion'.

Well, Cane and Rinse strikes again! The week you release the Dread podcast a sequel is announced! Amazing timing as usual!

So we just need a new podcast of the most recent Metroid game every-time we want a new sequel? Realizing the magic powers the Cane and Rinse crew wield. *mind blown*

Great episode and perfect timing. I’m very excited for Ravenous. Only negative is that it releases on my wife’s birthday 😂

Cane and Rinse

That's a handy contraction that could save us a few seconds over the course of a show.
