Fantastic show, really enjoyed the discussion about the ending and whether doing things in a doomed universe matters.

James McCaul

Really great episode. Also many, many congratulations on reaching your 500th episode. Thanks to all who have contributed to all the wonderful video game discussions over the years.

I’d been wanting to play this game for a while, having heard the critical praise. Your podcast pushed me over the edge, and so I bought it and excitedly started to play. 2 hours in and the words confusion, exasperation and annoyance describe my experience. I have no idea what is happening, what I’m supposed to do or why I should care! I think my brain must be of the wrong variety. Guess I’ll go back to the games made for dumbos :-)

Alfie Bamford

You're not alone mate, I'm the same. Just can't get into it, nor care enough about it to give it another crack. And I am certainly down for surprising myself and my usual expectations with games.

Luke Scriven

Glad to hear I’m not alone! I AM going to give it another try but I don’t have high hopes. The graphics, mechanics and story haven’t done enough to make me care so far. That being said all the positive reception can’t be wrong so there’s obviously something great there, but maybe it’s just not for the likes of us. However I will persevere ...I want my $15 worth dammit! I’m having the same negative reaction to Dust: An Elysian Tail at the moment too. Maybe I’m just a miserable sod :-D

Great ep, Happy 500 C&R!

Can anyone tell me if there are DLC spoilers in this? Have finished main game but not played the DLC yet…

Richard Harnwell

Thanks. Guess I’d better move the DLC up my list then!
