This week, Ryan, Jesse and Jon are joined by The Computer Game Show's Sean Bell to take a jaunty wander through the Tarot-inspired world of The Fool's Errand, a 1987 puzzle game created by an enigmatic and inventive designer. Learn the history of a game designer who doesn't play or enjoy videogames, see the sights of a world gloriously realized in two-color silhouettes, and puzzle along with the Fool and his companions.Music featured in this issue:1. Always excited to hear the obscure oldies that Jesse picks

I love that Jesse is so good at picking out these PC/Mac games from a period where I was too young to truly appreciate them. These are among my favorite episodes. I should get better at sitting down to play some of them rather than just listening to the episode, though.

I, too, dig the Jesse picks. They’re often ones grew up aware of—and sometimes even played. I really enjoyed this episode.

Thanks, folks! Incidentally, if anyone has either played the game or was just curious about the Tarot-based "Wheel of Fortune" mini-game, I've put together a playingcards.io file here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gekfeb8ym8676bx/Wheel.zip?dl=0 Just go to the site, start a custom room, hit the little suitcase (?) to go into edit mode, and under Room Options choose "Import". Gonna try it with my Trad Card Games class in two weeks, after giving them the original "puzzle" as homework, and see if it stands up as a symmetrical game of strategy as well as an extremely clever puzzle.
