Not trying to nitpick, but the intro song runs like, way over the intro of everyone on this one and keeps playing for a bit so I'm guessing that was a mistake? 😅

Stranglehold is a game that I used to confuse with Sleeping Dogs for some reason. Maybe it was that both are in Hong Kong and have some form of bullet time?

I think that's usually a sign Ryan's edited the episode!

Ryan's anecdote about really going for dick shots in this game just brought up the absurd robocop fan remake scene which takes the cake for absurdity.

It’s testament to the quality of Cane and Rinse that I can really enjoy an episode about a game I couldn’t give 2 flying shites about back when it came out, or now. Keep up the good work.

Ive always wondered about this game so it was nice to get a peek behind the curtain in regards to its history and to hear that the team found some fun within the gameplay. Ryan will forever be dubbed as 'Sir Testikill' in my eyes thanks to this episode xD

This was a nice show about a mediocre game that is still much fun to play. The older I get (42 now) the more I enjoy these games, especially from previous generations that I discover retrospectively. A recommendation in the veins of Stranglehold would be Dead to Rights Retribution. A great die hard style third person action game with gritty melee combat where you can disarm bad guys and shoot them in bullet time with their own gun! And you have dog named Shadow as a companion who can do stealth attacks or take out villains in an over the top style. Highly recommended for some fun hours.
