Looking back a bit further than we did in our previous SEGA arcade racer podcasts on Daytona USA and SEGA Rally, we take a look at the mighty Model 1's Virtua Racing (V.R.). Leon, Chris, Karl, Tony and community correspondents remember the sheer footprint of the arcade machine and the excitement of seeing a large amount of solid polygons whirling around at a decent and consistent frame rate. As usual with this type of show we also look at the various conversions and ports that followed on Mega Drive, 32X, Saturn, PS2 and Switch.Music featured in this issue:1. Yes. Nice to see cane and rinse haven’t been infected with dead old lady madness.

Always even more enjoyable than usual to hear one of your favourite games ever being discussed. Loved it!

A great Show. I always enjoy the racing games you discuss as I do find that these are a bit underrepresented in the shows overall. Of course there are so manny genres that everyone will find that some of his preferred ones are a bit neglected but I would love to hear more about great racing classics like Wipeout and Ridge Racer which are sadly missing until now it seems. As I mentioned in about her comment I am relatively new and make my way backwards through the cane and rinse catalogue but out of interest I was looking for Wipeout, Ridge Racer or Need for Speed and did not find those! Especially Wipeout is a great game and series which would deserve a podcast. But yes, many games do. I just think that given the fact that you do discuss each entry in the Mario cart series some of the other classics should at least get a show as well.
