STAR WARS LEGACY from Dark Horse Comics launched in 2013 and pushed The Galaxy Far, Far Away deep into the future. 137 years after The Battle of Yavin to be exact, and featuring a new descendent of Luke - Cade Skywalker. Along with an exciting cast of characters and more Darths than ever before, Legacy brought a fresh new take to Star Wars comics. RFR VIP Craig Wehr returns to the Q&A to break down the first 25 issues with Jimmy Mac.

Perfect timing! ❤️ I just finished the last one today. Now, I can listen during my drive to/from radiation tomorrow.

Lol... "We get more people downloading RFR episodes than people buying dr aphra comics."

Aw man! I would love to listen to this episode but I still haven't read these comics! Might just be my perfect excuse to read them.... Part of the reason why I haven't I'd because I've also never read the NJO novels or anything after those. Do you need to have read those first to really enjoy or understand Legacy...?

Not really. Maybe just read a description of the Yuuzhan Vong, who they are and what they did. That's about it. - JMac

I read the series and had the hardcovers.

"Cult of Claudia Gray"...lol. So, so true. That had me in stitches. Another great episode. Thanks!

Great job Craig! I never read any of these comics so fun to hear about them. Also was surprised to find out there was a Nat Skywalker. I immediately texted my brother-in-law Nate to let him know :) (he’s a Star Wars fan too).

Great convo guys! With regards of Aphra... I think the idea behind the character is great...aka Space Indie scavenging the universe for relics. But dont think they nailed that just yet. That being said just imagine a D+ series where Aphra's exploits are the vehicle to learn about "legends of the past". She finds a dark side cave, finds a relic and then we learn all about that items pass through a flashback story. That could be cool. Her biggest problem is she is written to be a cool kid and man does that have the opposite effect.

DarkHorse comics was the shiznit. Better than any disney turd that will ever drop. Badass characters, badass stories, and the chicks had T&A.

All of the above. And sure, you can say what you want about the T&A comment, but some of the best art in that era was created by Jan Duursema, a brilliant FEMALE artist. Badass indeed! - JMac
