Purifier commentary pg. 58 (Patreon)

This page is a straight continuation of the previous page's montage, drawing a lot of reference from photographs of civilian evacuations during World War 2. I end up really simplifying character details in crowd scenes like this so I hope each face isn't scrutinized too closely - but they do work as a whole I feel. The final panel of this page is an interesting story. I had actually fully inked and completed this page when I realized to my horror that it did not flow naturally into the next page. The original final panel I've included above so I can explain what I mean.In the first version, the montage sequence ends by returning to Gill as she finishes her briefing. The very next panel is her arriving at the door of a dwelling to do her part in the operation. As it was, I felt very strongly that this was much too jarring a transition between panels and pages and sought to correct that simply by extending the montage one additional panel. Said panel I drew seperately, and not only do I think it flows better now - it leaves a much punchier final image for the montage.
