This is the last time we see the family from the beginning. I wanted to resolve them so that they don't just magically vanish after delivering their opening lines and this way I get to bookend their involvement with a little joke. Hope you had insurance, mate.Finding reference for the sight picture of the specific pistol I used was not easy but I managed to do it. Gill's waiting a couple of moments before advancing on the chance that her target presents itself again, which he doesn't. The middle panel is a little odd, because without the dialogue it's actually very empty, but my hope was to imply the travel with sound effects and word balloons.I drew Henderson and officer Brent (named later) as being obviously dead here so there would be no sense in Gill stopping to check apart from glancing down. There's a small amount of characterization in what she murmurs to herself. I avoid having characters talking to themselves as much as possible because people don't do that - but used sparingly I think it works.

As someone who talks to themself quite often, I don't think it's an issue at all to have characters occasionally do it.

I'm almost the only person I talk to.

I really like the middle panel, the emptiness and the fact its longer than the others creates a great feeling of tension for Gill advancing on the door
