Have that conversation with your wotless, disappointment of a son, he should already be paying bills in your house. I don’t feel bad, but I have no sympathy for Greg. This idiot turned down a job! They could’ve been paying $2hr, he still should’ve taken it! WTH is wrong with him, and his mother who lets him do this while living rent free in her house.

And omg I am going through this with my Mom’s fake cancer, it’s melanoma (skin cancer) so someone always has to share that they have a mole they got removed it was nbd. Or that our other friend’s Mom has cancer like we have a meeting to talk about cancer, it’s annoying af, just ask how she is ok? 😵‍💫

Let me preface this by saying my parents are kind, loving, open minded people in every aspect of their lives, except their HOA. My parents were on their HOA board for YEARS. They live in a very nice golf community and both HATE above ground pools; they think they are trashy. So one year a neighbor was getting their old above ground pool replaced with a nicer, new one. In the space of time between the old one being removed and the new one being installed, my parents got the HOA rules rewritten, voted on, and approved no longer allowing above ground pools. My mom went as far as going door to door to get everyone to initial and acknowledge the new rules knowing no one would read that shit. So she had these people’s initials acknowledging the rules changes that now disallowed the pool they were scheduled to have installed. So when they flipped out on being told they could not install the pool, my mom pulled out the paperwork with their acknowledgment and agreement to the rules change. Years later when the same neighbor announced they were moving out of the neighborhood, my dad stood up at the HOA meeting and clapped. I don’t know how no one set their house on fire.

I cannot STAND Greg. He is so selfish and lazy, and that's fine if that's how he wants to live his life, but don't bring this lovely, smart, ambitious woman into your dead end lifestyle. i just do NOT get it. As Poodle says...."HIM???" He has no intention of working toward a better life with her; you guys nailed it when you said he pretends he wants to be able to do more for her, but really he is just expecting her to get used to life with the bedroom door open, living with his mother. (Who will, by the way, continue to let him get away with murder while nagging and berating Joan for her every move.)
