I can’t help but think she’s not the one who’s actually been messaging him. Their conversation wasn’t all lovey dovey like their texts apparently are (according to how Ben characterized them). She just seemed a little clueless and not familiar with Ben.

My dad’s side of the family is Guamanian and they prepare empanadas pretty regularly although ours tend to be more sweet than savory. It’s probably a remnant of Spanish colonialism.

I feel like Kimbaly was all like, we are going to video chat my son now so you can see with your eyes that I already know full well about the African way, and Usman seemed clueless when it came to reading between the lines on that one, and Jamal was all like, wait, I can tell by your energy that this is another prerequisite bang phone call. I was also surprised at the lack of comparisons to BGL's 'American Way'
