I say wriggle too! And, out of curiosity I looked it up and the official definition is "twist and turn with quick writhing movements"....give Mattie the pillow!

Jennifer

I was having a difficult morning but that story about the orange has just changed the trajectory of my day! I am dead! 😂😂😂

Jujuy

Yes to wriggle! ( time for Mattie to dish out a little shame). Also, doesn’t it amaze that we can remember all the old lyrics ( that awful Top 40 song), but can’t remember something simple that just happened?

Molly Cox

My children tell me to stop singing all the time!! It pisses me off. I feel you, Poodle!

Jujuy

Poodle let Mattie get away w Toyota Prius ( preetus)

Jeff Nagel

As a former runner, I almost died listening to Mattie’s orange story. 😂😂😂😂

Jill

As someone who cannot even comprehend why people run long distances voluntarily… I too would have shown up with an unpeeled orange. Like it wouldn’t even occur to me to peel it because then am I just standing here with a sticky orange? Do I wrap it in something? What does this weirdo who runs for fun do with the wrapping? Or do I just hand her a sticky, naked orange and then she gets to run with sticky hands? Why does she even want an orange? They are too complicated! This is why we do inside sports.

Friend they’re saying “gooped” you hear it said on RuPaul’s drag race a lot.

Erica Garcia

Y’all I was humming “top 40” almost immediately after he sang it. It’s a bop! Uncle Google wanting to show us his doodle was perfection. Agreed on not blaming the victim but a golden toilet? She didn’t even like him very much. I was screaming. I don’t even want to see a golden toilet whilst sober unless I’m at Hearst Castle. Gaw!

Megan Mendel

I loved this!!! Thank you for this treasure of an episode

Kate Blackburn

Give me the Top 40 song as a ringtone PLEASE LMAO

Shelley Harriott

They talked abt doing a 90Day crimes crossover with y’all!!! Make it happen!!!

Kate Blackburn

Also Sissy's, The Courtship should have streamed on NETFLIX b/c i feel like it was only produced because of the Bridgerton phenomenon so netflix would have been perfect for it

I came here to say the exact same thing! Not a runner but I laughed so hard I almost chocked 💀

Betsy

I got 'Dear John-ed' once. Big time. And (before that) I was a person who proudly proclaimed "How did she not see that coming"?!?! I was a victim-blamer. Which is a great way to feel till it happens to you. When it happens to you, it's horrific. Long story. There's a false sense of security in saying 'that would never happen to me' and it feels good to think you can't be outsmarted. But none of us are 'above' it.

Carrie Peterson

The orange story…I was laughing so hard I was crying pulling into the school pick-up line. Almost hit someone and they thought I was laughing about it.

Apparently the Bat from Wuhan is highly disliked. To each their own, but those people are incorrect! lol

Laura Vega

I’m gooped that Poodle said MERNERCLERNERL ERNTERBERDEES (monoclonal antibodies) out loud! I was the one who tweeted about it and I feel SEEN! Time stamped so I can brag to my husband tonight 😂

Heather D.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND those who dislike the Wuhan Bat.. I mean good grief! Poodle was in China when this all began—you have to have a character from the COVID origin story 😂 🦇 (of course, just my opinion.. i also LIVE for Dildo Swaggins..)

Tessa

It's been awhile since I've laughed out loud. That orange story got me spitting out my coffee! 🤣

Laura

The top 40 song had me laughing out loud 😂😂😂

Jennifer Boehner

I laughed so hard I cried more than once, especially the orange story! Thanks Mattie and Poodle, I needed a laugh! Poodle, my kids (3 and 6) tell me to "stop singing" all the time in the car... I don't think I'm a horrible singer but apparently they do.

Jennifer Riester

I've never stayed in hostels while traveling because I assumed this was the type of stuff that happened in them, also I need my own bathroom!!!!

Super Nova

I almost spit out my coffee listening to that orange story! i'm dying lol

Anna

Mattie - Don’t feel bad about brushing off randos bc women do it all the time. People are crazy and any questions they have can be answered by google. ✌🏻

Tonya Beth

I’ve never stayed in a hostel but there’s a nice one near me that you can rent private rooms and suites in if you aren’t into sharing. Probably more than $8 though. It definitely sounds like something I would have done a decade ago.

Kat

Seriously guys, its called a zipper merge. You are supposed to drive all the way to the end of the merge lane and then pull in. Its the law and its their to limit traffic jams. Yeah, sucks when you are waiting in a lane and have cars pass you and pull in ahead of you but they arent being assholes, they actually are following traffic rules

Arden

Love how Y'ALL added levity to true crime.

K8lnmarie

I love y’all both and this episode was frickin hilarious and the people who don’t agree can kick rocks 😈 if there had been an even higher tier I’d probably pay for it 😌❤️

Katryn Adams

Yes, this is the answer if you're over 30. I stayed in a great place in Guatamala a few years ago in my mid-30s, but you better believe I had a private room! About $25 a night, I think.

Caroline Dickie

Gollum wants you to “give it to us raw and wriggling”. I thought Dildo Swaggins would’ve known that for sure

Lilly Espinoza

🎶Top 40, top 40 🎶 😂 this and the 🍊 story. 💕This is why I pay for this tier! It’s the tier that keeps on giving lol

Mary Scheske

What's worse - a child telling you not to sing, or little poodle criticizing your pitch 🤣 This was a great episode, it had all the things that make this podcast so entertaining and unique - keep going queens.

Kimberly Saginario

I woke up my dog when I laughed at Poodle saying he would do the cartoon Youssef

Alexis Scott

That orange story was my favorite thing I’ve heard in a while. I was choking for air on the treadmill 😂

Kristina

Mattie, I’m the same! Ever since watching the show I’m on extra high alert!!!

Nikki

TOP 40, TOOOPPP 40!!!! 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎶🎶🎶

Katrina Johnson

More true crime please !!! 😩The orange story made me cackle. I would totally have done the same as Mattie 🤣🤣🤣

DJ Nightshade

(1) Wriggle is correct. (2) I don’t think my cat has hated anything more than the Top 40 performance 😀

Julia Facey

Mattie - you NEED to see 30 Rock. Dr. Spaceman 🤣🤣🤣

Lisa F

this episode was like a more sinister Tinder Swindler. Whew. My heart was racing with the re-telling of Callie in the tire shop and her memory of slowly losing consciousness. Amazing that she survived that. But 2 years in jail for that?!? Horrible.

Peggy Ann

Yes, Matty! #letthewomendothework

Peggy Ann

Poodle’s absence right. That’s what all of the true crime podcasters say: be rude
