A house coat in Spanish is a house dress (bata de casa), and Donna was definitely wearing a house coat. But the wooden spoon was chef’s kiss!

Yes Mattie- Tim Curry in Legend was a formative sexual awakening moment for me. 👅💦 I’m Team House Coat, I own 2 of my own and I’m full-on vibing when I have one on. For wooden spoons, I always equate that with my white friends. My friend Becky’s Mom kept hers in her purse and sometimes would just refer to it and the littlest girls would straighten up, the 80s were different y’all.

My 🍑 got beat by a wooden spoon as a kid 😂 I deserved it. I was such a monster. The belt also scared the crud out of me.

Lala Morgan

Man I thought we would get Raneka again this episode! I’m dying to find out what happens at the hotel

I work with a Sharae, he’s the nicest guy but he has a reminder on his watch and phone for getting up his desk, coffee break, texting his husband, etc.. very annoying if you’re in the middle of a work-related conversation 🙄 I feel you Anthony!

Michelle Martinez Logsdon

Donna was definitely wearing a house dress she likely bought from the back of Parade magazine.

Alicia De Toro

My mom used to use the wooden spoon. Also, Italian American 😂 Mattie- I messaged you one of my fave beach walks near you in SB.

I hope Melissa brings Rutu, the yoger instructor, into this again

Alexis Rosen

Whaaat? No wooden spoon beatings as a child of boomers? I also hate the wooden spoons lol. But better than the big plastic hairbrush or spatula!

Lynne

North East Coastal input: my Nanny would wear a garment similar to what Donna had on and we would refer to it as a MooMoo. A house coat would have to have buttons, snaps or a zipper. Something you would buy at a Boscov’s …

CARL!!!! I can barely figure out how to comment on the new Patreon!!!!

Alicia Andrews

Melissa a nut but she wasn’t really wrong about “re-activating” her period after a couple of days. That definitely happens for me sometimes and I’ll just get another half day of flow after I’ve had sex. 🤣 As for it being like losing her virginity again, like I said she’s a nut!!

I hollered when Sheree offered him his moms chicken and he said “I don’t want no parts of that” 😂😂😂

Edward Lloyd

Poodle, don’t let Mattie shame you for listening to Forensic Files! My sister and I both fall asleep to the soothing voice of Peter Thomas talking about antifreeze.

Maria Gallegos

I was 14 when I got together with my “husband”. But hold on to ur seat. He was 31!! We’re still together but I hate him.

Isobel O'Shea

Wooden spoon was a formative part of discipline during my childhood across the pond, never actually used but looked threatening enough, partially burned with a bit cracked off 😂

Lori McElroy

When Donna said yo her 41 year old son "what if they want to meet me" about his parole officer. It took me out! That's all you need to know about this women

So I just got off a cruise ship this morning and am catching up on LALU. The people in the cabin next to me had Sharae’s ringtone as their alarm in the morning!!! I couldn’t figure out why it annoyed me so much until I watched the episode 😵‍💫

Little devil 😈 poodle was great

I can't figure out why Andy quit his police job when he got custody of the kids and took a trucking job. It would seem to me that he would be at home working as a cop as opposed to on the road as a truck driver.

Caroline Dickie

I forget, was Melissa actually a cheerleader in high school? She was kind of a nerd back then and he was a popular kid, right? Maybe she was a cheerleader but I keep laughing (and feeling terrified) at the thought she may have found/bought an old cheerleading uniform so she could live out her teenage dreams

Deja Bleu

Agreed...... Same...... He is the definition of co dependency also ...

Jess Lynch

SAME. It's completely backwards. My husband drives truck for himself, I know OTR guys make really good $$ but I can't imagine it would be worth abandoning your kids for 2-3 weeks at a time.
