The God of Smallpox and Other Goodies! (Patreon)

The podcast has been recorded and getting dolled up as I type this. It should be up by tomorrow (fingers crossed). A little head's up for those wondering about the topic: The God of Smallpox. There he is depicted above being frightened away by Scary Samurai Man.

Also, for this month's Bedtime Story I'm going to record one of my short stories I usually do at readings. It's from my first book (A Robe of Feathers) and one of the antagonists just happens to be The God of Smallpox. There is all kinds of smallpox lore and superstition in that piece.

Since this week they are practicing everyday for an airshow during my normal recording time, I'm going to wait until Monday to record and get the Bedtime Story out.

Envelopes are loaded, sealed, and addressed. I will send those tomorrow morning. I must go out of town this weekend (waaay down south to Shikoku island, Weee!), so I am going to see if I can pick up any cool postcards from there to send to postcard-getting Patrons.

Lastly, frogs. The background this month is tee tiny, rice field frogs. They are quite soothing. Let me know if you have any subject you want me to talk about (podcast or story). I'm willing to dive into just about anything.

Take care and I will post again real soon. I'm thinking about doing one or two Patrons Only posts about my two-day down south trip. It might be quite the adventure.

XO,
