Wew!

It's Obon Vacation at the moment and I'm having a ball working on things (not work related). Not only do I have the envelopes ready to go, and putting the finishing touches on the postcards, I even got the Bedtime Story finished. And here she is: the last four chapters of Sara and the In-Between. I think I'm going to translate something for next month.

I'm also going to put up all the illustrations in another post. Jennifer Smart did a fabulous job and I really want to share her work. The attached photo is from Chapter 9 - The Purification Ritual.

Oh, did I mention Obon Vacation? Well, I get a few days off and it looks like some kind of super typhoon is going to hit tomorrow and the day after. I'll use those days to finish up the postcards and work on the next podcast. But for today I'm going on a mini road trip to Izu Peninsula to catch some nature, art, and hopefully something mysterious, spooky, or just plain cool. I'll report back here if I do!

Wishing all of you a wonderful day!

XO,

terrie

Beautiful <3 and I love the Costco Saturday, I could completely feel that day and how excited a younger child could be and how an older child might be “too grown up” to get excited over a whole day wandering the isles and eating the little snacks they have.

Uncanny Japan -- Thersa Matsuura

Thank you so much, Nixy! The accident part is based on a true story that happened to me. I'll have to do a short little blog about it here. It's a bit dark, but surreal.
