Okay. I loved this story. My grandfather was a game warden and brought home all kinds of orphaned and injured animals to rehab and let go. My dad was a science teacher and continued the tradition. I've raised baby owls, squirrels, all kinds of songbirds, rabbits, and even a few a few field mice so the first half rang very true. The second half reminded me of raising teenagers! :)
