Hey Peaches! Will Adam 'like the man with the sword'? Yes. Yes he does. A lot. Strap in for Adam to be smiling ear to ear in joy, and crying a few times, as he finally gets to see the movie he thought he was going to see when he was 8 years old. Also Jay likes it too, cause this movie is awesome, and the soundtrack is bitchin'!

"we are trying to trim down our intros" (proceeds to have an over 3 minute long conversation about how fucking JACKED reacher is before introducing the movie) never change guys

pReview'd with Adam and Jay

For YouTube. YouTube intros are getting trimmed. Which means Patreon is getting both barrels of us just talking about Alan Ritchson, or whatever else Jay would like to talk about. We’re passing on the savings to you!

this movie has crazy rewatchability

This movie fired on a lot of the cylinders, but the one misfire, IMO, was trying to chase the meta fan service that Dungeons & Dragons: HAT hit out of the park. Otherwise solid 7.5/10 for me. Fun and rewatchable, with room for improvement. That all said, this does run afoul of one of my VFX pet peeves: when Skeletor and Trapjaw speak, sometimes their exposed teeth/bone structure move like lips.

I would die if you guys reacted to the She Ra Princess of Power cartoon from a few years ago. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get to see this in theaters but there was no hype until the digital release. Since Amazon only cares about streaming numbers, maybe this will be enough for them to do a sequel or, more importantly to ME, a She Ra movie

I can’t understate my level of anticipation for this to be on YouTube

Seeing this in 4D was one of the most fun cinematic viewing experiences I have had all year. Goofy and endearing. What a picture!

Jay, I completely get you wanting to go to rehab. I was in hospital for a week with kidney stones. Granted the first bit wasn't great until morphine. But the rest of the time was the best break I have ever had. Years on, I still dream pleasantly about the time I had kidney stones.

I deleted a bunch of my comments made late at night yesterday while watching this along with you guys on my screen because my autism got me WAY too detailed and my ADHD got me WAY too over-sharing, but I wanted to leave just this part: - super fun! I’m glad they kept the campiness and the self-referential humor and let it just be its cheesy, beautiful self. - Mattel has done a good job of hiring writers and directors and creative staff to capture their properties as true to their nature. Love it. - not as deep as Barbie, but still heartwarming and showing a level of healthy masculinity that gave great joy. I just wish Leto hadn’t been part of it. And I know you guys talked about his performance before all of the public allegations this week, but as someone who has lived in SoCal all her life… we all knew never to go to a Leto party. His involvement is why I didn’t watch this in the theaters. Fortunately, his part is the easiest one to replace in a sequel! And let’s hope She-Ra gets her due! It seems like it’s doing well in streaming numbers (a lot of people may have been like me and avoided it for the Leto of it all?) and the reviews after home release, so here’s crossing fingers! This definitely hit all the marks and I can’t wait to show it to my kiddos, whose heads all the adult jokes will soar over but all the fun will remain.

The Sheep Detectives and Project Hail Mary are better, but Masters of the Universe is the movie this year that I'm going to rewatch the most. MOTU also made me cry through sheer awesomeness. I don't think I saw the original movie in cinemas (I saw Transformers: The Movie for sure), but I was definitely an 80s He-Man fan. I still have an entire box of figures. I hope Travis Knight directs the next Superman movie after Man of Tomorrow.

Oh, and Jay, that laughing bit at the end was indeed a reference to the show and the way they would over-exaggerate characters laughing while throwing their heads back after a bad joke, and it would always go on for way too long.

Love you guys and this amazing and awesome reaction!! I got to say. For the die-hard Heman fans who remember the 87 Dolf Heman movie. is it just me or to be honest if you were going to bring an 87 made-up villain back wouldn't you bring back the cooler monster who was killed by Skeletor " Saurod" (the alien with the helmet) over Karg??? I never liked the villain!!!

I’m glad I finally got to watch Adam’s reaction to this movie and it didn’t disappoint. What got me watching them in the first place was Adam’s response to the teaser trailer for the Netflix cartoon.
