Hey Peaches! After a few good games and the team finally bonding together, they face the number one women's team Chelsea. How will our ragtag group fare against the best team? Maybe a better question is how will our coaches fare?

to add to Alice's reaction, it seems like the fact that she was overlooked for a position as head coach is probably still a sore spot for her, and compounds on what you were saying about her feeling like she doesn't have any other chances to be close to the sport she has dedicated her whole life to. But it's also soooo painfully clear that she wants the connection to the team that Ted has, and she wants them to get to know her better. it's the whole "I want you to be curious about me and get to know me but I'm going to fight you tooth and nail about it the whole time" shtick. she wants them to understand her and her goals and intentions without ever sharing. She also has a very militant/'masculine' form of leadership that has been noticeable with some women in leadership roles (especially older generations - and this is just mostly speaking from personal experience). Mainly because if she doesn't take everything seriously and do everything by the book then she doesn't get the same chances that her male counterparts do.

I've definitely been in a position where something was so serious for me but the people around me never seemed to show the same care or dedication for it which made me feel like i was losing something. Im not sure, but I just feel like I get where she is coming from.
