“IT’S TRINITY TIME!”The plushie being shoved into Brick’s face let out another tinny shout, both its arms flopping around like little stubby fins as Boomer gave it another squeeze. Once again, the cheap voice box let out the same pre-recorded sound.“IT’S TRINITY TIME!”Red eyes took in what someone had decided was a — close enough — rendition of his brother’s face. Apparently, they figured that the eyes needed to occupy half the real estate of his entire head, which left about an inch of room for the mouth. That’s a choice. The less said about the hair the better, Boomer’s messy bowl cut represented as a single solid yellow shape like a helmet.Brickford Mojo stared at his brother for a long second, eyes dropping back down to the plushie for an even longer second before they went up again. “You’re kidding, right?”“Bro, look!”“No.” One hand went up before Boomer could smush the thing into his face in his eagerness. “I can see just fine. I just think it’s…” There were words here for this, words available; too many words, honestly, some ranging from mild critique to outright offensive. Unfortunately, they were in public and also public figures so Brick decided to go with the softball of all softballs. “...poorly made.”“How?” Boomer stared at him from behind the plushie, attempting to make his eyes as big as the felt disaster in his hand. “You’re not looking.”“IT’S TRINITY TIME!”Brick opened his mouth to sigh, the dense musk of convention hall air almost making him regret that choice. “...Boomer, that’s not even one of your… many, many catchphrases.”“I KNOW!” His little brother giggled out in between yells. “IT’S AWESOME!”
