Second gear increases his temperature, Red Hawk is like an extreme version of that encased in Haki. Hot enough for fire 🔥

This is literally Toei final form pacing along with Dressrosa. At least we're almost out of it.

Yes Jack, the sumo roof isn't supported by anything. A fan actually asked Oda in an SBS and he said that the material that makes up the roof is super light. That way, it remains afloat without any support. The idea is that in real life sumo, it usually hangs from the ceiling. However since this is outside, Oda had to find a creative way to include it. As for Holed'em, the lion is a part of his body, it's not an accessory. I'm sure it'll become more apparent but SMILE fruit users don't get the standard zoan transformation. Instead they get a permanent fusion of the animal and person. You have somewhat ideal cases like Speed where the fusion is quite balanced. Then there's extreme cases like Holed'em where you have a lion popping out of your stomach. Sad to say, there's worse... Like way, way worse to come😂😂😂 There's more to it but you'll eventually get to it in the story.

This early Wano pacing is actually atrocious bruh... also its understandable to forget very small details but already forgetting that lion is part of Holdem and that Luffy used red hawk during dressrosa is crazy

He should have just said there were really strong very thin wires attached to the roofs of the surrounding buildings holding it up lol

Jack, there are no straw hats near Luffy's level. You have to consider his future sight alone, which none of the straw hat has reached that level of advanced observation haki. Well, even in the series, only some people reached this level, so it should be telling enough, he's in a whole different level from his crew. Not to mention he also conqueror haki's user, his devil fruit applications (Gear forms). His fight with Katakuri also made his armament way stronger to be able to compete with him. He has 3 forms of Gear 4 alone, elevating his power, weight, and speed. Flashy fights didn't determine their power level.

So looking forward to next episode. It is one of the big ones in retrospect, especially given what happens later. But even just in the current context, it is such a huge driver and moment. I am looking forward to seeing it again.

Yeah, usually i don’t mind much like when its in water 7, but at this point in the series, luffy fought insane monsters like Doffy & Katakuri and reached certain level only some characters reached in the whole series. With these fights alone, oda already put luffy in different level than his crew. Its hard to overlook comments like that even I also don’t like going too much into powerscaling topic lol.

btw jack red hawk was also used in Dressrosa against Doflamingo when law and luffy teamed up , not trying to sound like a nerd though just letting you know.

I think it was in this episodes that there was shown a mother about to kill their own child with a knive in the manga since the poverty was that cruel that they couldn´t take care of it otherwise.

This comment is a bit misleading. I'm not saying Zoro is stronger than Luffy, but you can't accurately scale Zoro's peak strength at all at this point in the story because he hasn't really lost to anybody, these are just your estimates - not fact. At this point, I would personally estimate Zoro to AT LEAST being around Luffy's level when Luffy is not in Gear 4th. Any less than that is a bit silly imo. Given what we see later in Wano, I actually think you are really selling Zoro short here. Some people can choose to believe he "randomly" got wayyyyyy stronger all of a sudden, but I think it makes more sense logically to assume that he was just stronger than previously thought post-timeskip as Jack is coming to see. Jack SHOULD be impressed after seeing Zoro make light work of Hawkins. The gap between those two is way larger than Jack and the audience likely expected with them both being "worst generation". He has the right idea putting Zoro on a pedestal. I don't think he believes Zoro is stronger than Luffy, he is gassing up Luffy just as much if not more.

Nah the red hawk fire was always real fire... literal sound effects like sizzling and it always burned enemies. Just a couple of bozos claiming without evidence that it was some kind of audience visual only. Probably the same people who claim black armament hardening is "just for the audience" when most evidence points to the opposite.
