the amount of things that happened in these two episodes bro my goodness. The lore, the reveals, all the pieces fitting together slowly but in a way that doesn't automatically tell you outright what's all really going on behind the scenes. Peak

Vegapunk didn't create the weapon the WG used, he created the Mother Flame that was used to power it. The weapon they used is either Uranus (the only ancient weapon we've never seen) or it could be the Pluton, given the past was futuristic so a "flying ship" wouldn't be farfetched. We've only seen schematics for the Counter Pluton that the Shipwrights passed along to Tom, Iceberg and Franky so it's entirely possible we've just been led astray by Oda's immense storytelling ability

So, a couple of things. 1. I won't spoil what the Mother Flame is, but you shouldn't assume that is what Vegapunk wanted it to be used for. Vegapunk is a genius, but he's also shortsighted. 2. There's a cover story regarding CP9 after the events of Enies Lobby that gives some extra context to their positions. 3. You should also read "Germa 66's emotionless excursion." It gives a lot of additional context to the egghead arc and acts as an epilogue to the Whole Cake Island Arc.

Egghead is just full of insane fights, insane lore, and insane clash of characters. It's like the ultimate arc and it's just the first arc of a Final Saga. One Piece now either in anime or manga will be peak after peak.

You kinda right with the Oppenheimer comparison for Vegapunk. I do feel like you've misinterpreted his character to be a bit too villainous or heinous though. It's more intended as carelessness or naivety I think, in that he invents things for supposed good reasons without properly considering the ramifications of their potential misuse. The seraphim are already an example of this as you said, but the motherflame is surely another one.

The reason why Vegapunk joined the government because they were giving money for his inventions, hes not creating thing for the sake of money but his own ideas while finally getting the money to make those things

I think a lot of people think that Dr. Vegapunk is careless, but he's quite the opposite. He's very caring. What we've seen throughout the world and what has been said, People adore Vegapunk because he's made their lives better. Even back to his home island, he wanted to warm the island up for his people. The money he gets from the WG allows him to help others in many countries, especially War-Torn countries. Unforunately it comes with things he doesnt like and he understands the consequences/ramifications. He's someone whose driven by the Pursuit of Knowledge and Advancing the world for the future generation. In regards to Kuma and the Seraphim; Kuma asked for Vegapunk's help and the only way VP could would be turning him into a science project (the order being given from the WG). When it came to the Seraphim, I'm sure he knew why they needed them to be made, especially with the Disbandment of the 7 Warlord system.

What part is spoiler? I cleared up his confusion in the first part. The next part is just me throwing ideas around given what Vegapunk said about the past and connecting it to stuff from old arcs like Water 7

We do not know the weapon that was used to destroy lulusia yet at all, so some posters are getting a little ansty about manga spoilers and se don’t know who has/has not read the manga, I would refrain from speculating too much for that reason. But to expand on your original theory. Pluton is 100% not being used here because in order to get access to pluton the navy needs ro tear down the walls, implied that only zunesha can do so (the 5 elders commented this), which momo has not commanded zunesha to do so. So, there’s no way it can be pluton.

Nothing I said was manga specific though so I'm gonna keep doing me, and people who think everythings a spoiler can keep being vague about it 🤷 I'm just speculating that we've intentionally been led astray and that even what is in Wano could just be a Counter Pluton that stood the test of time. It's just a thought though given I have my own theory on what Uranus is and that we know Pluton is a ship while also knowing the past was more technological. Also Enel made a flying ship in the Pre-TimeSkip and you know how Oda likes to take pieces from the Pre TS and flip them on their head in the Post TS. Again, just speculation for fun about stuff none of us know for sure
