Ngl before Nolan this was my favorite Batman movie by a country mile. And as blasphemous as this sounds Val Kilmer is still to this day my favorite Bruce Wayne. Not counting the Goated Animated series.

Steve Harvey Dent

#Sundayrundown funfact before Chris O’Donnell was Robin, Marlon Wayne's was supposed to be Robin in this and in batman return. But since Schumacher took over, the studio recast the part with Chris O’Donnell.

#SundayRundown One of the 2 movies on the list that I think is *actually* good lol It’s crazy how Hollywood is so disinterested or deem it unrealistic to portray sidekicks as kids or teens. Theyre all aged up. They got Robin as a college age student being adopted. Even in the MCU, Bucky in the comics is Cap’s sidekick but they flip it in the movies Fun fact; originally Marlon Wayans was suppose to be Robin. Btw, the soundtrack for this movie was fire!

Jim Carrey does a great riddler in this to me it reminds me of the animated series & I keep forgetting riddler in the animated series was voiced by Jon Glover who is Lex Luthor dad in SmallVille , he is so damn good I’m SmallVille menacing asf

Billy Blanco

As amazing as Kiss From a Rose is, I just wanna shoutout "The Riddler" by Method Man that was also made for this film. Song goes hard.

Jon Mercano

#SundayRundown Remember when Harvey Dent was black? He was Billy Dee Williams in the first movie! Lando Calrissian! 4 years ago there was Batman 89, a comic ignoring the Schumacher movies where Billy Dee Harvey becomes Two Face. It also does Marlon Wayans Robin! The Lego Batman Movie also had Lego Billy Dee Two Face for like 2 seconds It’s typically crime boss Tony Zucco who causes the deaths of the Grayson family because the circus owner wouldn’t pay protection money

Something I only notice now as an adult is how horny these Batman movies were. Superhero movies in general were more sexual compared to today were even Iron Man is in a committed relationship from day one. Superman(Christopher Reeves) and Lois on the rooftop flirting. Penguin and Catwoman in Batman Returns are horny as hell. Batman and Robin is goofy but there’s still sexuality.

I’ve been waiting for this on the Bad DC Movies watchthrough. Happy Thanksgiving to us all 😁 Also, “IT’S BOILING ACID” is one of my all-time favorite cinematic lines 😂

Drueisms

I know it's probably because it's the one I owned on VHS, but this was always my favorite of the 80s-90s Batmans.

Matthew Bowers

Loved this as a kid. It doesn't really hold up as a Batman movie, but as a Jim Carrey movie, it is top tier.

SundayRundown: Chris said Riddler can't fight that's why you need Two Face we know from Harley Quinn you got two have your own goons you need a crew

AvatarConner

I think the speech that bruce gives to dick about killing is SO good in this.

Dale Cooper

I had this batmobile as a toy growing up so cool. #SundayRundown Reportedly Tommy Lee Jones hated Jim Carrey. Per Jim on Norm Mcdonald's podcast: "And he went to hug me and he said, 'I hate you. I really don't like you.' And I said, 'What's the problem?' and pulled up a chair, which probably wasn't smart. And he said, 'I cannot sanction your buffoonery'... Kinda wild considering his acting in this movie.

I think they’ve finally hit the only bad dc movies outside the DCEU

Gambit3838

No matter what, this one will always hold a special place in my heart. Had the action figures, the special edition holographic vhs box, had a great soundtrack... plus it introduced me to Nicole "MF" Kidman. Lawd have mercy. 🤣

Gotham is where the best live action Riddler adaptaion is for me personally. Although the thing about gotham is that its the least connected to DC from all the other live action shows, mainly seen during arrowverses "crisis on infinite earths" where every dc show and movie even the ones you never heard of was shown in the multiverse before getting wiped.

So no DC movie reaction upload for Thursday this Batman Forever is a previous upload

The Normies

Yes, this was released for Early Access. It was mentioned last week on Wonder Woman that we would be skipping this week Bad DC for Premium Access.

Steve Harvey Dent

Is there a chance yah save the 1984 Supergirl for the new one coming out this year

Manny D.

I was obsessed with this movie as a child. I still love it.

Chaos T

The entire soundtrack is 🔥. Not usually a U2 fan but "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" is a great song.
