Razor Pt. 2 | Battlestar Galactica | The Normies Group Reaction!

Directed by Félix Enríquez Alcalá and written by Michael Taylor, Battlestar Galactica: Razor is a gripping mid-series feature that dives into the darker history of the Battlestar Pegasus and its ruthless former commander, Admiral Helena Cain (Michelle Forbes). Told through the eyes of newly assigned officer Kendra Shaw (Stephanie Jacobsen), the story reveals how the Pegasus survived the initial Cylon attack — through brutal survival tactics, moral compromises, and devastating orders that haunt the crew. As Admiral William Adama (Edward James Olmos) issues a daring mission against a deadly Cylon threat, Shaw confronts Cain’s legacy and her own complicity in Pegasus’ darkest chapters. Meanwhile, Kara “Starbuck” Thrace (Katee Sackhoff), Lee “Apollo” Adama (Jamie Bamber), Gaius Baltar (James Callis), and Number Six (Tricia Helfer) all factor into a narrative that deepens the mythology of the Cylons and foreshadows the prophecy surrounding Starbuck’s fate. Hey! Never insult the classic Cylons. My dad saying, "By Your Command," in the Soundwave voice to my mom is one of my favorite memories. He explained to me, more than once, that a Cylon raider must be piloted by a team with a gold commander. And yes, Lucas and Filoni ripped off some things from classic Battlestar.

Battlestar Galactica was after star wars, Lucas sued them.

Jul_Belton

Yep, and Clone Wars was after BSG and the lawsuit.

I was rewatching the Cylon sneak attack on the Scorpion shipyards from part 1 and I noticed that there's a Galactic type Battlestar in the background. They probably used Galactica's CGI model. There's also a couple Valkyrie class Battlestars exploding in the background. Adama commanded a Valkyrie Battlestar in that one flashback episode. Valkyrie class Battlestars were very tiny in comparison to Pegasus or Galactica Battlestars. But I guess the Valkyries were probably much cheaper to build because of their small size. That's it, just nerding out over the CGI models of the different Battlestars.

I nerd out with the classic Cylons. "By your command." The OG chrome clankers.

Forgive if I'm wrong but wasn't Six infiltrating the Pegasus to sabotage and kill everyone on board? I honestly have no pity for her or her kind. But Caine absolutely fucking sucks and her death was a mercy she didn't deserve.
