The fatal 4 way is a much better option for getting to know not only Randy but the other legends in that match as well as a taste of the history between them. Why make them suffer through that Cactus Jack match when they wont even understand the “legend killer” aspect yet.

I don't think I would want to have to explain the details of what Benoit did, mashed brain or not. He wrestled an extremely reckless style, so he caused his own brain trauma more than any opponent. The worst part is that some modern wrestlers didn't seem to learn from Benoit's mistakes.

Randy vs Mick is a perfect place to start because this match essentially made Orton a main event future star in that time. It would also be a good idea to not only show them the promo video for the match but to also show them some small clips of his beginnings from his debut to him joining Evolution and winning his 1st title in a match that also happens to involve his future opponent and show emphasis on his "Legend Killer" character.

Brother what representation is there of "her ancestry" in that match? Nothing about the Punjabi prison match is Punjabi. Its literally just built on racist stereotypes to play into the "foreign menace" gimmick. The commentary was always about how the "evil punjabis" are savages for using a structure. Indian guy = bamboo and spikes. The only thing punjabi about that match is Jinder and while he was billed as being from Punjab, India and his gimmick at the time was "America bad, everyone hates me because they are racist and this country sucks" The guys canadian.

Agree with what the other guy said but also its just not the "best technical wrestling ever". That match is good but its not amazing. Its just a whole lot of grappling and trading low impact moves until the submission sequences start. Also... Fuck Benoit. Not only did benoit steal 90% of his act from Dynamite Kid but he was repeatedly told to stop doing the flying headbutt. He was told not only by Dynamite kid who ended up in a wheelchair because of the move but also by Harley Race who INVENTED THE MOVE because they both knew how dangerous it was. Benoit knew all of this and ignored it because he believed it was a core part of his style and he would rather quit than stop doing it, he also said that the injuries were a badge of honor.
